iam8bit have announced that they will be releasing Atlus Sound Team’s soundtrack to the game Persona 5 on vinyl.
The release will be available in 2 variants a 4LP set with a selection of tracks curated by the Atlus Sound Team, and a 6LP set with the full 110-track soundtrack. The 6LP set will be limited to just 1000 copies.
Both will be released in “quality box sets”, but there are no mockups of the artwork featured on the release yet. In total not much is known about the visuals of these releases yet, but iam8bit is teasing the announcement of a “top secret artists” who will be involved with these.
These are scheduled to release in Q4, 2017 and are priced at $100 for the 4LP set and $175 for the 6LP set.

Laced Records have announced that they will be releasing Toytree’s soundtrack to upcoming first-person shooter STRAFE on vinyl.
The release will be a 180g 2LP in two different versions. The special edition will come on black vinyl in a special floppy disc-inspired cover. The special edition is limited to 300 copies. The standard edition will come on orange and red colored vinyl with a different cover (see below). Artwork is done by Pixel Titans and Joey Rex.
In addition to the two variants, it is also possible to preorder the releases both with and without a preorder code for the game.
The release is scheduled to come out in Q3, 2017, and it can be preordred now via Laced Records’ webstore.
…not literally everything, but rather Ben Lukas Boysen & Sebastian Plano’s soundtrack to the game Everything. It will be released by the label Erased Tapes.
The release will be a single LP in a regular jacket featuring artwork with several of the objects you come across in the game. The release will be available in two variants – a standard black vinyl variants, and a limited edition clear vinyl variant that also comes with a digital copy of the game. 500 copies of the limited edition will be available.
The release consists of a selection of 10 tracks from the full soundtrack, chosen by Erased Tapes label boss Robert Raths. However, both variants will include a download code for a digital copy of the full 43-track soundtrack.
The album is scheduled to begin shipping out on July 26, 2017 (official release is July 28) and can be preordered now via Erased Tapes’ webstore.
The Yetee have announced two releases for Record Store Day – Chipzel’s soundtrack to Interstellaria and Patrice Bourgeault’s original and DX soundtracks to Ninja Senki.
The Interstellaria release is a 2LP on black vinyl with blue and white “space” splatter and comes in a jacket with new artwork by Marie Bergeron.
The Ninja Senki release is also a single LP, but comes on a pixelated shuriken picture disc on clear vinyl and comes in a textured jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise. Ninja Senki will be limited to 250 copies.
Both releases will come with a download code for digital copies of the soundtrack.
Interstellaria is ready for shipping on Record Store Day, while Ninja Senki will begin shipping in late June 2017.

It’s Record Store Day on Saturday (April 22) and those who’ve been looking at the official lists might have already seen this one. Warp Records will be releasing Hudson Mohawke’s soundtrack to the game Watch_Dogs 2 on vinyl.
The release – titled “Ded Sec – Watch Dogs 2 OST” – will be a 2LP on black vinyl housed in printed inner sleeves in a regular jacket. It also includes a download card.
As mentioned above this will be released as an official Record Store Day title on April 22, 2017. This means that it will only be available in participating record stores, although it might be available online some time after Record Store Day.
It’s not exactly new news that Spacelab9 will be releasing Jason Graves’ Far Cry Primal soundtrack at this point. It is, however, not until now that they’ve been ready to order.
The album will be a 2LP housed in a gatefold jacket sporting original game art. The release will come in 3 color variants – a white-in-blue translucent “glacier” variant, a brown opaque/translucent split with splatter “cave painting” variant, and a retail black variant.
The release date for the “glacier” and retail variants is April 21, 2017 while the “cave painting” will be out on April 25, 2017.
The “cave painting” variant will be exclusive to Spacelab9’s own webstore. The “glacier” variant is exclusive to ThinkGeek and can be ordered here.
The black variant is for all other retailers and can be ordered now via Amazon.
Today iam8bit put up a listing for Matthew “2 Mello” Hopkins’ soundtrack to the game 2064: Read Only Memories (previously known simply as Read Only Memories) on vinyl.
The release will be a single LP on 180g “Turing” blue vinyl and comes in a jacket with new original artwork by Kristen Liu-Wong. The release also comes with liner notes by Hopkins himself and a digital download code. The release will be limited to 1000 copies.
The release is scheduled for a Q3, 2017 release and preorders will open tomorrow, April 13, 2017. It can then be preordered via iam8bit’s US store here and their UK/EU store here.
Almost exactly a year ago Mondo announced their partnership with Konami for a series fo vinyl soundtracks. Today they’re releasing the soundtrack to the first game in the horror game series Silent Hill. The soundtrack is composed by Akira Yamaoka, but credited to Konami Digital Entertainment on this release.
The release will be a 2LP in a gatefold jacket with brand new artwork by Sam Wolfe Connelly. The records will come in 2 variants – one on 180g clear vinyl with heavy white “snow fall” splatter, and one on 180g classic black vinyl.

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. announced last year that Zuntata’s soundtrack to 1987 shoot-em-up Darius would be the second entry in their Taito Arcade Classics series.
The release will be a single LP housed in a gatefold jacket with liner notes by composer Hisayoshi Ogura and games write Anthony Agnello. The release will be available in two color variants – ‘Silver Hawk, Player 1’ red and ‘Silver Hawk, Player 2’ blue.
The album is expected to release early May 2017 and can be preordered now via Ship To Shore PhonoCo.’s webstore (US) and via Vinyl-Digital (EU).
UPDATE: There will be a special limited edition available as well via Limited Run Games on blue and red marbled vinyl.
It’s been a while since Brave Wave officially confirmed that they would be releasing the soundtracks to Ninja Gaiden 1-3 in two 2LP volumes. Today, however, we finally got to know when – and a whole lot more!
Vol. 1 of the two 2LP releases will contain newly remastered versions of the arcade and NES versions of the original Ninja Gaiden soundtrack. Vol. 2 will containg newly remastered versions of the NES soundtracks to Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos and Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom.
Vol. 1 comes on orange and red colored vinyl, while Vol. 2 comes on blue and green colored vinyl. They both come in gatefold jackets and includes a booklet each with artwork, interviewss and liner notes.
In addition to these two 2LP releases Brave Wave is also doing a super-limited box set in only 100 copies. This box set will include both 2LP sets and also comes with concept art and a post card signed by three of the series’ composers.
UPDATE: I’ve had it confirmed with Brave Wave that it is only the signed version of the box set which will be limited to 100 copies. There will be non-signed copies as well – and more than 100.
All 3 releases are scheduled to release on or around July 1, 2017. Preorders for all will open on April 13, 2017 via BigWax and Bandcamp.
