Jim Guthrie have just announced that he’s running a crowdfunding campaign in order to release his Below soundtrack on vinyl.
If the campaign is succesful the vinyl release will be a 2LP with one record on blue and the other on purple vinyl. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with die-cut, foil-stamped inner sleeves and artwork by Tony Chan.
The campaign is aiming for $10,500 and will run until May 18, 2019. The standard tier is $50 for the vinyl release, and additional higher tiers will include additional bonuses like extra downloadable content and a poster.
If the campaign is succesful the vinyl release is planned to ship out around July 2019.
Data Discs teased it late last year and finally confirmed a release date a few day ago. That day is now and orders for their Thunder Force IV (known in the US as Lightening Force) release are now open.
The release will be a 3LP and as usual it will be available in three variants. They will have a limited edition blue, black and grey swirl colored vinyl variant, an opaque blue vinyl variant, and a classic black vinyl variant.
The set will also come with a lithographic print and a fold-out poster with game art. Furthermore, it will not only contain the full game soundtrack, but also 10 unused “omake” tracks.
It’s been a little while since Ship To Shore PhonoCo. first announced that they would be releasing “LSD Revamped”, which is a reworked soundtrack to the cult Japan-only PS1 game LSD: Dream Emulator.
The revamped version was originally released on CD last year in Japan only and include both revamped versions of the original tracks as well as a series of remixes from different artists. The new vinyl version has had the tracklist rearranged by Osamu Sato himself, so that it will flow better on vinyl.
The release will be a 3LP on red vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by composer Osamu Sato.
