Citizen Sleeper vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder via Lost In Cult

Stumpy Frog Records are releasing the soundtrack to the narrative RPG Citizen Sleeper on vinyl. The initial version is launched alongside a crowdfunding campaign that also includes an art book for the game among other things.

The release will be a 2LP on magenta colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game artwork by Gareth Damian Martin. The jacket will be held within a printed acetate sleeve.

This version is exclusive to Lost In Cult and will be limited to 500 copies. Another version will be available from Stumpy Frog Records at a later time.

It is priced at £40 (and also part of the £250 Anniversary Edition) and is scheduled to release in Q3 2023. It can be preordered via Lost In Cult here.

UPDATE: My initial post stated that this would be a crowdfunded release. However, this was incorrect and only the book part from Lost In Cult will be crowdfunded. The vinyl release is a regular preorder and will happen regardless of how the book crowdfund goes.

Black Screen Records to release In Other Waters soundtrack on vinyl

Black Screen Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the xenobiologist adventure game In Other Waters on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on 180g “Sun” yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Damian Gareth Martin. It will also include a 12″ heavy cardboard art print, an enamel pin and a download card.

It is priced at €28 and is scheduled to release in late December, 2021. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

Black Screen Records releasing a free indie game vinyl compilation

You read that right. Free. In celebration of Black Screen Record’s fifth anniversary they are releasing a compilation LP with 14 tracks from as many different new indie games for free.

The release will feature music from the following games: Lunark, Demon Turf, Melon Journey 2, Eastward, Paradise Killer, Temtem, Cris Tales, Cassette Beasts, Bushiden, Orange Island, The Wild At Heart, Backbone, Anew: The Distant Light, and No Place For Bravery.

The album is a single LP on black vinyl and will be housed in a regular LP jacket with original artwork by Drew Wise. It will also come with stickers and a 12-page flyer.

It is priced at ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SO GO GET IT and is scheduled to release in October, 2020. It will only be available this month and only while stock lasts. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

It is also worth noting that they are selling discounted albums with minor cosmetic damage at a discount here, as well as running discounts on several of their in-stock items on their site.

Fangamer ready with a 2LP for the Kingdom soundtrack

Some might recall that Limited Run Games had a special color variant for Kingdom handled by Fangamer available for some time, and now Fangamer have announced their own variant.

The release contains soundtracks to both Kingdom and Kingdom: New Lands.

It’s a 2LP with one record on pink marbled vinyl and the other on white vinyl. It comes in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Kelly Smith.

It’s priced at $33 and is ready to ship, which most likely means that copies from Limited Run should be shipping out soon. It can be ordered from Fangamer here now.
