Lost In Cult to release Eastward’s Octopia DLC soundtrack on vinyl

Lost In Cult Records and Black Screen Records are teaming up to release the soundtrack to Eastward’s upcoming Octopia DLC on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on yellow colored biovinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. It will also include an certificate of authenticity signed by composer Joel Corelitz. It will be limited to 1000 copies.

It is priced at £30 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2024. It can be preordered from Lost In Cult here.

UPDATE: I’ve been informed that a standard version with a different color vinyl and without the certificate will be available at a later time.

Eastward vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder via iam8bit

iam8bit have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to indie action RPG Eastward.

The release will be a 2LP on black recycled vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with design by Ryan Brinkerhoff and cover illustration by Laura Bifano.

It will be available in a standard variant and a limited edition that comes with a board game. The limited edition is limited to 3000 copies.

The standard is priced at $40 and the limited at $80 and both are scheduled to release in Q3 2022. The standard can be preordered from iam8bit here and the limited here.

Mondo are releasing the Halo Infinite soundtrack on vinyl

Mondo have opened preorders for a vinyl release for the soundtrack to the latest installment in the Halo series – Halo Infinite.

The release will be a 180g 2LP available in two variants – a orange and brown colored vinyl variant, and a black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Ken Taylor. It will also include an insert with liner notes by composers Gareth Coker, Joel Corelitz and Curtis Schweitzer.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in February, 2022. It was available to preorder from Mondo here, although it has unfortunately sold out as of this post going live. However, Mondo have already confirmed that more copies will be available to order sometime in the 2022.

Black Screen Records releasing a free indie game vinyl compilation

You read that right. Free. In celebration of Black Screen Record’s fifth anniversary they are releasing a compilation LP with 14 tracks from as many different new indie games for free.

The release will feature music from the following games: Lunark, Demon Turf, Melon Journey 2, Eastward, Paradise Killer, Temtem, Cris Tales, Cassette Beasts, Bushiden, Orange Island, The Wild At Heart, Backbone, Anew: The Distant Light, and No Place For Bravery.

The album is a single LP on black vinyl and will be housed in a regular LP jacket with original artwork by Drew Wise. It will also come with stickers and a 12-page flyer.

It is priced at ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SO GO GET IT and is scheduled to release in October, 2020. It will only be available this month and only while stock lasts. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

It is also worth noting that they are selling discounted albums with minor cosmetic damage at a discount here, as well as running discounts on several of their in-stock items on their site.

Chrono Trigger arrangement EP now available from Yetee Records

Yetee Records are teaming up with Materia Collective once again. This time to release an arrangement EP with new takes on the music of classic JRPG Chrono Trigger. This new release titled Guardia: The X-Strike Sessions will be the second in their X-series following their Star Fox EP from last year.

The EP will feature music from R23X, Lena Raine, Smooth McGroove, Joel Corelitz, Equip, Slim Girls, and bryface.

It will be a 10″ on yellow vinyl with red splatter. It comes in a 10″ jacket with lenticular artwork by Drew Wise. The release is limited to 500 copies.

The EP is priced at $30 and is scheduled to begin shipping around April 10, 2020. It can be preordered from The Yetee here.

Yetee Records ready with Flinthook and Tumbleseed soundtracks

Yetee Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Tumbleseed alongside the previously announced vinyl release to Flinthook. And not just that – they also have exclusive variants of Ship To Shore PhonoCo.’s Rocket Knight Adventures and Kid Dracula releases.

Tumbleseed will be a single LP on a clear vinyl picture disc. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with artwork by Drew Wise.

Flinthook will be a single LP on pink vinyl. It will be housed in a special cover with a plastic outer and die-cut inner designed by Drew Wise. Artwork is done by Stephanie Bourgeault.

For the exclusive variants Rocket Knight Adventures will be a blue and green merge, while Kid Dracula will be a white and grey split.

Flinthook is priced at $30, Tumbleseed at $25 both are scheduled to release in February 2018.
Rocket Knight Adventures and Kid Dracula are priced at $20 each and are scheduled to release before Q1 2018.
