Wayô Records have opened preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to The Story Of Thor (probably better known under its North American title Beyond Oasis).

The release will be a 2LP on limited edition yellow marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will also include a 12-page booklet with liner notes and artwork.
Preorders of the limited edition at Wayô will also receive a shikishi art print with new art by Hitoshi Ariga and signed by composer Yuzo Koshiro.

While not confirmed a standard edition will likely be available from other distributors at a later time.

It is priced at €45 and is scheduled to release in September, 2024. It can be preordered via Wayô Records here.

The release is a 2LP on “radio disturbance” pink swirl colored vinyl. It is housed in a foil board gatefold jacket with new artwork by Calder Moore.

New Super Lesbian Animal RPG vinyl release with bonus tracks up for preorder via Turtle Pals Tapes

Turtle Pals Tapes are ready with preorders for an LP of bonus tracks from the Super Lesbian Animal RPG soundtrack titled “The Lost Tapes”. They have previously released a 2LP of music from the game of which they are also doing a new repress.

The release will be a single LP on red marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Judy Angileri.

iam8bit are now taking preorders for a vinyl compilation with a selection of music from all three Frog Detective games.

The release will be a single LP on “Mysterious Moss” green colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Natalie Andrewson.

Sunsoft Famicom compilation vinyl now available to preorder

Back in 2013 Sunsoft launched a Camp-fire crowdfunding campaign for new game releases of their Famicom catalog. That campaign also included vinyl soundtrack backer rewards at one of its tiers. This vinyl release is now close to coming out and has been made available through distribution from Black Screen Records.

The release includes music from the Famicom games The Wing Of Madoola, Firework Thrower Kantaro’s 53 Stations Of The Toukaido, and Ripple Island. All included tracks are newly sourced from hardware.

The release will be a single LP on gold-colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

The original campaign was priced at ¥4500, but is up for €29 now. It is scheduled to release in Summer, 2024. It can be preordered via Black Screen Records here.

Yandere Simulator vinyl soundtrack can now be backed via Diggers Factory

A crowdfunding campaign for a vinyl release to the soundtrack to controversial unfinished game Yandere Simulator is now up on Diggers Factory and handled by the game’s former composer CameronF305.

If successful, the release will be a single LP on 140g black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with album art by CameronF305 and game assets. A maximum of 200 copies will be made.

Given the controversy of the game and its developer it should be noted that this campaign is run by the former composer of the game and all proceeds will go to them.

The campaign runs from now and until July 24, 2024 and will require a minimum of 100 copies to be ordered for it to happen. It is priced at €24 and if the campaign succeeds it is scheduled to ship out in October, 2024. It can be backed via Diggers Factory here.

The soundtrack to the horizontal shoot ’em up TX-1696 for the ZX Spectrum Next is now available to preorder on vinyl from Technoshed Software.

Black Screen Records have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack release to the upcoming Seekers Of The Storm DLC for Risk Of Rain 2. New repressings of previous Risk Of Rain titles have also gone up for preorder.

The release will be a single LP on “deep space” blue, dark green and black marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Daniele Giardini.

Metal Gear Symphony arrangement album up for vinyl preorder via Respawned Records

Respawned Records are now taking preorders for the Meteal Gear Solid arrangement album “Metal Gear Symphony” on vinyl. It was released digitally in 2014 and also features a suite of arranged music from the original Metal Gear and Snake’s Revenge.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a red “velvet” marble colored vinyl variant, and a “Snake” grey with black splatter variant. Side D will feature an etching and it will be housed in a jacket with artwork by Rozen.
