Diggers Factory and Silva Screen Records are teaming up to bring back volumes 1 and 2 of the The Essential Games Music Collection arrangement albums by London Music Works back on vinyl – but this time together in one release. They have previously been released on vinyl separately.
The release will be a 2LP on clear vinyl. It will be housed in a die-cut jacket with new artwork.
Laced Records have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the latest entry in the Tomb Raider series – Shadow Of The Tomb Raider – on vinyl.
The release will be a 180g 2LP with one record on orange and the other on blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.
A Kickstarter for “Tomb Raider: The Dark Angel Symphony” was just launched today. It is managed by composer Peter Connelly and will feature orchestral arrangements of his music from Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness.
For those wondering, this is a separate and – as far as I can tell -unaffiliated campaign to the Tomb Raider Suite campaign from last year.
There is a vinyl option available as part of the campaign’s £135 tier or available as a standalone add-on for £50.
There aren’t too many details about the vinyl option other than it being “presented here in a luxuriant slip-case with original artwork by artist Inna Vjuzhanina“. Mockups are shown as black vinyl, so that’s presumably what it will be released on.
