iam8bit have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Gone Home on vinyl in celebration of the game’s 5th anniversary.
The release will be a single LP on “lavender dawn” colored vinyl. It will feature new artwork by Leighton Gray, Faith Schaffer, and Noël Clark. The release is limited to 1000 copies.
It is priced at $30 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2019. It can be preordered from iam8bit here now.
We’ve known for a while that Chris Remo was working on vinyl releases for his music and now we’re seeing the first one as his score to the indie game Firewatch is being released on vinyl.
The release will be a single LP on 160g black vinyl and comes in a thick tip-on jacket featuring the original game art. It also comes with a download card for the soundtrack.
The release is priced at $25 and is scheduled to start shipping on December 1st, 2016. It can be preordered right now from Campo Santo’s webstore here.
