The soundtrack to Riven is now available on vinyl via Fangamer

Announced by composer Robyn Miller quite a while back, the vinyl soundtrack to Riven – sequel to adventure game classic Myst – is now finally available from Fangamer.

The release is a 2LP on blue and green marble colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves all in a package designed by Robyn Miller*. The set also comes with a gold belly band and a fold-out poster of a Riven game design map from 1994.

It is priced at $45 and is in-hand and ready to ship. It can be ordered via Fangamer here and via Fangamer EU here.

*EDIT: It has been confirmed that at least part of the artwork for this release was made using generative AI.

Laced Records ready with vinyl preorders for the Firmament soundtrack

Laced Records are releasing the soundtrack to adventure game Firmament on vinyl and preorders are live now.

The release will be a single LP on red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art and liner notes by composer Maclaine Diemer.

It is priced at £26 and is scheduled to release in September, 2024. It can be preordered via Laced Records here.

Fangamer are now taking orders for the Myst vinyl soundtrack

A Myst vinyl soundtrack was first announced by composer Robyn Miller all the way back in 2018, but yesterday Miller finally confirmed that Fangamer would be releasing it – and orders are now live.

The release is a 2LP with one record on “red page” and the other on “blue page” marbled colored vinyl. They will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Robyn Miller. The gatefold will be housed within an embossed slipcase.

It is priced at $45 and is in stock and ready to ship. It can be ordered from Fangamer here.
