Official Super Mario soundtracks to be released together on vinyl

Warner Music Japan are releasing a compilation of music from several Super Mario Bros. games on vinyl. The release includes an arrangement album as well as the soundtracks to Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World (alongside a few tracks from Vs. Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels), and finally several sound effect tracks from the games as well.

It appears to be a vinyl release of the 1991 double CD titled “Super Mario World”.

The release will be a 3LP, but there are currently no further details on its packaging.

It is priced at ¥11500 and is scheduled to release around April 30, 2025. It is currently available to preorder from HMV Japan here and Tower Records Japan here, and will likely be available via more distributors later.

Halloween EDM VGM arrangement album up for vinyl preorder from Firaga Records

Firaga Records have launched vinyl orders for a Halloween-themed EDM arrangement album in their VGM Essentials series. It features new takes on tracks from Pokémon Red & Blue, Sonic Heroes, Team Fortress 2, Cult Of The Lamb, The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, DOOM (2016), Super Mario World, The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Shantae And The Pirate’s Curse and Genshin Impact.

The release is a single 180g LP on orange translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Ginkgo.

It is priced at $28 and is in hand and ready to ship. It can be ordered via Firaga’s Bandcamp here and the Materia Store here.
