iam8bit have released Joystick Jazz: Bonus Level jazz arrangement maxi on vinyl

iam8bit are releasing the jazz arrangement maxi single “Joystick Jazz: Bonus Level”Joystick Jazz: The Blueshift Big Band Plays Iconic Video Game Hits (Bonus Level)” on vinyl. It will feature new jazz arrangements of music from Pokémon Red & Blue, DuckTales, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and Final Fantasy VII.

The release is a single 45RPM 12″ on black vinyl. It is housed in a die-cut single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Mark Borgions.

Symphonic Pokémon Red & Blue arrangement album up for vinyl preorder via Materia Collective

Materia Collective are ready with vinyl preorders for a new Pokémon arrangement album titled “Symphonic Journeys: Pokémon Red & Blue”.

The release will be a single LP available in 4 color variants – a “Water” blue colored variant (Materia exclusive), a “Fire” red colored variant (IGN Store exclusive), an “Electric” yellow colored variant (event exclusive), and a standard black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Absolum.

It features new takes on tracks from Pokémon Red & Blue, Sonic Heroes, Team Fortress 2, Cult Of The Lamb, The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, DOOM (2016), Super Mario World, The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Shantae And The Pirate’s Curse and Genshin Impact.

The release is a single 180g LP on orange translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Ginkgo.

Firaga Records have just launched preorders for a vinyl release of Chuck None’s arrangement album “VGM Essentials: Chuck None”. It features arrangements of music from Undertale, Super Mario 64, Tetris, F-Zero, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic The Hedgehog, Dr. Mario, Pokémon Red & Blue, Kirby Super Star and The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

The release will be a single 180g LP on clear with blue and yellow swirl colored vinyl . It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Ginkgo and design by Isa Alcántara.

Firaga Records and Occult Cat Records are releasing the Pokémon arrangement album “VGM Essentials: Pokémon Remixed” on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Ines Merino and design by Isa Alcántara.

Materia Collective are opening preorders for their Pokémon Red & Blue piano album

Last year Materia Collective started a Kickstarter campaign for the recording of a piano arrangement album of the Pokémon Red & Blue soundtrack and they are now opening preorders for non-backers.

The release is a 2LP on black vinyl. The records appear to be housed in a single-pocket jacket with illustrations by Nora Kristiansen and design and layout by Rozen. It will be a pressing of 500 copies.

People who backed the vinyl tier for the Kickstarter will receive a backer-exclusive version of this, but it has not yet been announced what the difference between the standard and the backers versions will be.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release around September 1, 2018. It can be preordered now via Bandcamp here.
