iam8bit to release a Blaseball soundtrack on vinyl

iam8bit have just announced that they are releasing “Blaseball: Discipline” on vinyl – music made for the browser-based baseball simulation horror game… or so Wikipedia says… I have no idea what that even is.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on blue marbled and the other on red marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket featuring artwork by Mark Borgions. It is possible to purchase the record separately or alongside up to 10 trading cards based on the game.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q3 2021. It can be preordered from iam8bit here.

iam8bit to release the Ape Out soundtrack on vinyl

Yesterday iam8bit announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to the top-down beat ’em up Ape Out on vinyl. As the game’s soundtrack is dynamically created in-game the release comes from a recording of a live-playthrough of the game by developer Gabe Cuzzillo.

The release will be a single LP on 180g black vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new jazz-inspired artwork by Mark Borgions.

It is priced at $30 and is scheduled to release in Q3, 2020. It can be preordered from iam8bit’s store here.
