iam8bit missed the memo about Black Friday being on a Friday and actually not until next week – but that doesn’t change the fact that they have dropped preorders for a whopping SIX video game vinyl releases!

The Artful Escape will receive an original soundtrack release as a 2LP on “psychedelic” blue with pink splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Jim Rugg.

Minecraft Dungeons will receive a release with a selection of tracks from its soundtrack plus some new remixes. It will be a 4LP on “nether” orange and purple colored vinyl. It will be housed in a box set with artwork by developer Mojang Studio.

Bugsnax will receive an original soundtrack release as a 2LP on “tasty” orange with cream splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Nicole Gustafsson.

A Musical Story will receive an original soundtrack release as a 2LP on purple and yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Alexandre Rey.

Chicory will be receiving a piano arrangement album as a single LP on pink colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by David René Christensen.

The Joystick Jazz big band jazz arrangement album with music from Banjo-Kazooie, Mega Man 2, Sonic The Hedgehog, Donkey Kong Country and The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. It will be released as a single LP on black vinyl and will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Mark Borgions.

All of them are scheduled to release in Q2 2023. EU customers will also be able to preorder them from Black Screen Records.

Black Screen Records have just announced that they are teaming up with Materia Collective for the vinyl release of the Super Mario 64 jazz arrangement album “Hang On To Your Hat”.

The release will be a 45RPM 180g 2LP. It will be housed in an embossed and gold-foiled gatefold jacket with cover art by José Acosta Calva and illustration by David René Christensen.

It will be available in multiple vinyl color variants – a Mario red and blue vinyl variant, a Luigi green and blue vinyl variant (exclusive to Materia Collective), a gold vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant.

The release is priced at €45 and is scheduled to release in November, 2020. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

Materia Collective’s exclusive variant will be available from them when it is in stock in November.
