Cartridge Thunder are ready with preorders for the vinyl soundrack to fighting game Virtua Fighter 2. Both the Arcade and Sega Saturn versions of the soundtrack are included on this release.
The release will be a 2LP + 7″ set available in three color variants – an “Akira” red with orange splatter + purple marble variant (Cartridge Thunder exclusive), a clear with red splatter + clear with blue splatter variant (Mondo exclusive), and a standard variant on red and orange colored vinyl.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art and comes with liner notes by composer Takayuki Nakamura.
It is priced at $46 and is scheduled to release in August, 2024. It can be preordered via Cartridge Thunder here and the Mondo exclusive variant can be preordered via Mondo here.
