Data Discs partners with SNK for the Metal Slug vinyl soundtrack

A few days back Data Discs announced that they will be partnering with SNK to bring Takushi Hiyamuta’s Metal Slug soundtrack to vinyl. This will be their first release with a game company other than Sega and it sounds like there are more to come.

The release will be single LP housed in a gatefold jacket featuring artwork from SNK’s archives. The album also features two lithographic inserts, and a special translucent OBI strip. The release also comes with a download code for a digital copy of the remastered album.

As usual Data Discs will offer three different color variants – a limited edition variant on orange, clear & yellow tricolor with white splatter, a yellow opaque variant, and a classic black variant.

The release will be priced at £21 and is scheduled to release in late November 2017.

It can be preordered from Data Discs’ store here.
