Wayô Records have just launched preorders for a vinyl soundtrack release to 2002 run-and-gun action game Metal Slug 4.
The release will be a single LP on red with black and yellow splatter colored vinyl (limited to 250 copies), although there will likely be an additional colorway for distributors. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. Preorders of the limited colorway from Wayô will also include a shikishi print signed by Kubo.
Wayô Records have opened vinyl preorders for the soundtrack to the run and gun shooter Metal Slug X.
The release will be a single LP available in four color variants – a grey marbled color variant, and a yellow marbled color variant (Ship To Shore exclusive), an orange translucent color variant (Big Wax exclusive), and an orange marbled color variant (Just For Games exclusive). It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with game art. The first 200 preorders will also come with a signed shikishi print with an original illustrator by series illustrator Tonko.
Brave Wave have the next two releases in their series of The King Of Fighters soundtracks up for preorder – this time it’s ’94 and ’95 getting the treatment.
Both albums will be single LP releases housed in single-pocket jackets with game art and will come with booklets featuring liner notes and digital download cards. ’94 will come on orange vinyl and ’95 on blue vinyl.
A limited edition bundle featuring both LPs and a poster signed by series director Toyohisa Tanabe. 250 copies of this will be available from Limited Run Games and 50 copies from BigWax.
Both LPs are priced at $28/€25 and are scheduled to release in Q4 2021.
Last year Brave Wave announced that they’re working on releasing the soundtracks to the majority of the games in the The King Of Fighters series and now they are ready with vinyl preorders for The King Of Fighters 2002.
The release will be a 150g 2LP with one record on white and the other on red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art and includes a booklet with art and liner notes as well as a digital download card. They are also offering a limited edition of 300 copies (250 for Limited Run Games and 50 for BigWax) that include an A4 print signed by artist Eisuke Ogura.
Brave Wave have previously announced that they plan on releasing the soundtracks to The King Of Fighters ’94-2003 on vinyl before the end of 2022 and now they have opened up preorders for their second release of these – the soundtrack to The King Of Fighters 2000.

Earlier this month Brave Wave announced a whole slew of upcoming titles including the final title in the Art Of Fighting series of Neo-Geo fighting games – Art Of Fighting 3: The Path Of The Warrior.
The release will be a 2LP with one record on clear and the other on orange colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will also include a booklet with artwork and liner notes as well as a download code.
A limited number of copes that comes with an A4 poster signed by pixel artist Nobuyuki Kuroki will also be available.
A boxed collection of all three Art Of Fighting releases is also available to preorder, as well as an empty box for those who already own the previous releases.
It is priced at $38/€35 (signed copies at $48/€45) and is an open preorder from now and until December 13, 2020 on Limited Run Games. It is scheduled to release in February, 2021.

The release will include the soundtrack as well as a brand new 10-minute piano arrangement.

As announced previously this past week, Brave Wave have now opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtracks to the latest installment in the legendary beat-’em-up series Streets Of Rage as well as the classic fighting game Fatal Fury: King Of Fighters.
The Streets Of Rage 4 soundtrack will be a 180g 3LP set. It appears to be housed in a box set (although this is not confirmed) that will feature new artwork by Hitoshi Ariga and Ayano Koshiro. It will include a booklet featuring interviews with all the composers, Hitoshi Ariga, Ayano Koshiro, and several members of the game’s development team.
It will be available on standard black vinyl as well as on a red, blue and white colored vinyl limited set. The limited set is signed by composers Olivier Derivière and Yuzo Koshiro and is limited to 1000 copies.
The Fatal Fury soundtrack will be a single 150g LP. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will include a booklet featuring artwork and liner notes.
It will be available on standard black vinyl as well as on a silver colored vinyl limited edition. The limit set is signed by composer TARKAN and artist Youichiro Soeda and is limited to 400 copies.
Both releases will include a digital download code for the full digital soundtracks to their respective game.
