Along with the release date announcement for No Man’s Sky earlier today (June 21 for those wondering) Iam8bit announced that they will release a series of merchandise items for the game – including a vinyl release of 65daysofstatic’s soundtrack.
The album will be released on 2 180g colored records – it appears one is light blue while the other is dark red. The cover art is done by Simon Stålenhag while the gatefold art is by Kuldar Leement.
The album will be priced at $35 and as of announcing it there is no hints on when it will be released.
You can place a pre-order via iam8bit’s US store here and via their UK/EU store here.
UPDATE: iam8bit have stated that they’re aiming for a late-June release. Also – they are now offering media mail on orders from their US store.
You can listen to the track “Debutante” from the album on YouTube.
It appears “Debutante” isn’t on the final album. You can, however, stream the new track “Supermoon” from the OST via Soundcloud now.
