Guild Wars 2 vinyl soundtrack box set available to preorder from Materia Collectiv

Materia Collective have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to Guild Wars 2’s base game. Many of its previous expansions have had standalone vinyl releases, but this is the first time the base game soundtrack gets a release.

The release will be a 4LP set on “dragon blood” red marble and “dragon scale” white and light blue marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a slipcase box set with printed jackets for each record all featuring game art.

It is priced at $100 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2026. It can be preordered via the Materia Store here.

Materia Collective to release Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds vinyl soundtrack

Materia Collective are releasing the soundtrack to the latest expansion to MMORPG Guilds Wars 2 – Janthir Wilds – on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on blue marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2025. It can be preordered via the Materia Store here and via Bandcamp here.

Materia Collective ready with vinyl preorders for Guild Wars 2: Secrets Of The Obscure

Materia Collective are releasing the soundtrack to the latest expansion for MMORPG Guild Wars 2, Secrets Of The Obscure, on vinyl. The previous expansions have previously had their soundtracks released on vinyl by iam8bit.

The release will be a 2LP on gold colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with inner art by Kevin Moran and layout by Isa Alcántara.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2024. It can be preordered via the Materia Store here or via their Bandcamp here.

Guild Wars 2: End Of Dragons vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via iam8bit

iam8bit have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the third Guild Wars 2 expansion, titled End Of Dragons, on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on light green translucent with green splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with foil game art.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2022. It can be preordered via iam8bit here.

iam8bit to release the Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire OST on vinyl

Today iam8bit announced that they will be releasing Maclaine Diemer, Wilbert Roget II, Brendon Williams, and Stan LePard’s music for Guild Wars: Path of Fire on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on fuchsia splatter vinyl. It’s housed in a gatefold jacket with the game’s logo in holographic print (similar to Heart of Thorns) on the front and game art inside the gatefold.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2018.

Guild Wars 2: Heart Of Thorns soundtrack will be released on vinyl

A listing for the Guild Wars 2: Heart Of Thorns soundtrack have been put up on Iam8bit’s webstore.

The soundtrack is done by Maclaine Diemer, Lena Chappelle and Stan LePard and artwork for the vinyl version was done by Cory Schmitz. From the images provided (see below) it appears to be a 2LP on green splatter vinyl in a gatefold cover with printed inner sleeves. The score has been mastered specifcally for vinyl by Telegraph Mastering.

Additionally, ordering the soundtrack will give you a download link for the full digital soundtrack including bonus tracks.

The price is set at $40 and it is set to release in Q2 2016.

You can pre-order it from iam8bit here. EU customers might want to wait a bit as it is not yet up in iam8bit’s UK store.
