The Darkside Detective 1+2 vinyl soundtrack release to be released by Materia Collective

Materia Collective have opened up vinyl preorders for a soundtrack compilation of music from supernatural point-and-click adventure game The Darkside Detective and its sequel The Darkside Detective: A Fumble In The Dark.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on purple with black swirl and the other on green with black swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with glow-in-the-dark text on the front cover.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2023. It can be preordered from Materia Collective here and via Bandcamp here.

The Celeste B-Sides vinyl preorders are now live

We’ve known it’s been coming for some time, but there’s finally preorders and a release date up for Ship To Shore PhonoCo.’s vinyl release of the B-Sides music from Celeste.

The release will be a single LP housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise. It will be available in three color variants – a purple/pink split color vinyl exclusive to Ship To Shore’s store, a crystal clear retail variant, and a purple-in-clear variant exclusive to Black Screen Records.

Early orders from Ship To Shore’s store will also include one of two exclusive flexi discs with an 8-bit remix track (as long as stock lasts).

It is priced at $27 (€30 for the EU version) and is scheduled to release in early July, 2019 (and a little later for the EU version).

The Into The Breach soundtrack is getting a vinyl release from Fangamer

Fangamer have just announced that they will be releasing Ben Prunty’s soundtrack to Into The Breach on vinyl. It is part of their Black Friday sale (which runs until November 27) and is made available alongside other merch from the game.

The release will be a 2LP on “smoky green” translucent vinyl. It will come in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by spudonkey.

It is priced at $33 and is available and ready to ship now. It can be ordered from Fangamer here.

The music to FTL: Advanced Edition will be released on vinyl by iam8bit

Today iam8bit announced that they’re releasing Ben Prunty’s music for the Advanced Edition of FTL: Faster Than Light on vinyl.

The release will come on 180g “cosmic splatter” colored vinyl (similar to their release of the original FTL soundtrack, however with yellow splatter instead of green) and will feature new artwork by Leif Podhajsky on a metallic foil record jacket. The release will also come with a digital download of the music. The release is limited to 1000 copies and is set to release in Q2, 2016.

There’s been some confusion about the tracklist content so just to make it clear – all tracks on this release are different from the ones on the original FTL soundtrack.

Iam8bit to release FTL: Faster Than Light soundtrack on vinyl

Iam8bit has just put up a pre-order listing for a vinyl release of Ben Prunty’s soundtrack to FTL: Faster Than Light. It will be released on a 2LP splatter vinyl and the cover will feature brand new artwork done by Leif Podhajsky.

The soundtrack will be remastered for vinyl by Telegraph Mastering Studio and will contain a download code for the full digital album. The album is scheduled to release on Q1, 2016.
