Supergiant Games to release the Hades soundtrack on vinyl

Supergiant Games have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to their roguelike action RPG Hades on vinyl.

The release will be a 4LP box set available in two variants. The limited edition of 1000 numbered copies will be on 180g black vinyl and a foil logo on the box. The standard edition will be on 150g clear with black swirl colored vinyl.

The limited edition is priced at $75 and the standard at $60. It is scheduled to release in early 2021.

Orchestral Supergiant Games album now up for preorder

Supergiant Games have just announced a new orchestral recording of the vocals tracks from their games Bastion, Transistor, Pyre, and Hades. The album is titled “The Songs Of Supergiant Games: The 10th Anniversary Orchestral Collection”.

The album will be available in two variants. A standard edition single LP on red translucent vinyl, and a limited edition 2LP on 180g black vinyl cut at 45RPM. The limited edition will be limited to 1000 copies numbered and signed by composer Darren Korb.
Both will be housed in gatefold jackets with slightly different artwork on the front jacket between both versions. They will also include a 24-page booklet and a digital download code.

The standard edition is priced at $40 and the limited edition at $80. Both are scheduled to release Autumn 2020.

Supergiant is releasing the Pyre soundtrack on vinyl

Supergiant Games just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack for their game Pyre on vinyl.

The release will be a 3LP available in two color variants – a version on red, yellow and blue colored vinyl and a version on limited edition 180g black vinyl. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by Supergiant’s art director Jen Zee.

The release will also contain arrangement and bonus tracks not available in the game and a download card for the album as well as a set of bonus tracks.

The colored variant is priced at $50 and the black limited variant at $60. They are available to order now and appear to be ready to ship now. The colored variant can be ordered here and the black variant here.

Supergiant Games is putting out their Bastion soundtrack on vinyl

Today Supergiant Games dropped a surprise announcement saying that they will release Darren Korb’s acclaimed soundtrack to their game Bastion on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on 180g black vinyl and it comes in an “old-style” gatefold jacket with new artwork by Marie Bergeron (who also did the artwork for the recent Interstellaria release). The vinyl soundtrack features two songs not found in the game and also comes with a download code for a digital copy of the music.

Those who preorder will receive a little extra bonus in the shape of a Bastion bandana.

The release is priced at $40 and is scheduled to ship early Summer 2017. It can be preordered now via Supergiant Games’ store.

SuperGiant Games release the Transistor soundtrack on vinyl

SuperGiant Games have announced today that they are releasing the soundtrack to Transistor on vinyl. The soundtrack is composed by Darren Korb with vocals by Ashley Barrett.

It will be a 2LP on 180g milky clear vinyl and it comes in a gatefold cover with artwork by Jen Zee. Along with the record you also get a download of the extended version of the soundtrack.

It’s priced at $40 and it appears that it is ready to ship.
