Laced Records ready with preorders for Quake II vinyl soundtrack

Laced Records are taking preorders for the soundtrack to classic 1997 first-person shooter Quake II on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP available in two vinyl color variants – a limited edition red and orange swirl colored vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art by id Software and character illustrations by Jason Williford.

It is priced at £36 and is scheduled to release in January, 2024. It can be preordered via Laced Records here.

The Quake vinyl soundtrack is finally available to order

It’s been sitting in my list of upcoming releases for over three years. It’s almost been a standing joke at this point. But now it’s finally happening. The soundtrack to classic first-person shooter Quake is getting released on vinyl. Boom.

The release will be a 2LP on 180g black vinyl. It will be housed in a regular jacket with the game’s logo.
It does not include a booklet with essays by John Carmack and American McGee, because Zenimax is a petty company (but you may or may not be able to read and download said booklets on the store page for the release).

It is priced at $35/£40 and is in hand and ready to ship. US folks can order from the US Nine Inch Nails store here and UK/EU folks can order from the UK Nine Inch Nails store here.

Laced Records To Release Wolfenstein: The New Order and The New Colossus on vinyl

Laced Records have announced that they are releasing two Wolfenstein soundtracks on vinyl later this year. Wolfenstein: The New Order/The Old Blood and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

The New Order will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

The New Colossus will be a 3LP on red vinyl. It will be housed thick single pocket jacket with printed inner sleeves.

The New Order is priced at £33/$35 and The New Colossus at £45/$50. Both are scheduled to ship November, 2019.

Laced Records to release the DOOM (2016) soundtrack on vinyl

Laced Records have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to DOOM (2016) on vinyl.

They are releasing the soundtrack in several different formats.

There’s a special edition 4LP+2CD box set that includes the full soundtrack on red vinyl as well as CD and includes a DOOM slipmat. It is a timed preorder so you have to order before May 2, 2018 to be sure to get a copy.

Then they have a 4LP box set with the full soundtrack on black vinyl, and a 2LP selection on red vinyl. Well, and a 2CD release for those who fancy that.

The special edition box is €90, the black vinyl 4LP is €70, and the 2LP is €33, and they are scheduled to ship out in July, 2018. All variants can be preordered from Laced Records here now.
