New King’s Chill arrangement album now up for preorder

Two Guys Records have launched vinyl preorders for the third King’s Chill album featuring new lofi/chillwave remixes of music from the King’s Quest series. The album is titled “King’s Chill Vol 3 – Vibe Today, Chill Tomorrow”.

The release will be a single LP on purple with yellow and red splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket. It will be limited to 200 copies.

It is priced at €23 and is scheduled to release in November, 2024. It can be preordered via Diggers Factory here.

King’s Quest VI arrangement album now available to preorder on vinyl

Two Guys Records are once again teaming up with Magic Map Studio for a King’s Quest arrangement album on vinyl. This time it’s a new King’s Quest VI arrangement titled “An Ode To The Isles”.

The release will be a 2LP on blue and green swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Bruce Brenneise and Say Mistage.

It is priced at €37 and is scheduled to release in June, 2024. It can be preordered via Diggers Factory here.

King’s Quest V arrangement album “Songs Of Serenia” up for Qrates crowdfunding

Two Guys Records and Magic Map Studio have launched a Qrates vinyl crowdfunding campaign for an arrangement album of music from the adventure game King’s Quest V titled “Songs Of Serenia”.

If successful the release will be a 2LP with one record on orange and green split and the other on blue and red split colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Steve Coupe, Bruce Brenneise and Al Eufrasio.

The campaign runs from now and until April 3, 2022 and will require 200 preorders in order to be successful. It costs $47 and is scheduled to release 2-3 months after the campaign ends. It can be backed via Qrates here.

King’s Chill Vol. 2 now up for vinyl preorder via Qrates

Space Quest Historian’s label Two Guys Records have just launched a vinyl crowdfunding campaign for the second volume in the King’s Chill series of lo-fi/synth arrangements of music from King’s Quest. Vol. 2 is subtitled “to chill is human, to vibe is divine”.

The release will be a single LP on “ivory” yellow and “sky” blue split colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by EpicPotatoFiend.

The campaign will run from now and until December 10, 2021. It is priced at $22 and if successful it is scheduled to release 2-3 months after the campaign ends (although off-the-record that seems like a very optimistic estimate given the current state of vinyl production).

Chill King’s Quest vinyl arrangement album up for backing on Qrates

Two Guys Records have launched a Qrates crowdfunding campaign for a chill-out/electronica reimagining of music from the King’s Quest adventure games.

If successful the release will be a single LP on a “psychedelic” blue and green swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single pocket jacket with artwork by EpicPotatoFiend and Jon Paul Sapsford.

The campaign runs from now and until May 5, 2021 and needs at least 200 backers in order to become successful. It is priced at $17 and if successful it is scheduled to release around August, 2021. It can be backed on Qrates here.
