Soundtrack to From_. now available to preorder on vinyl

Composer Daisuke Shiiba is now taking preorders for a vinyl release of the soundtrack to indie adventure game From_.. The release also features piano tracks from games Cat Painter, World For Two, and Sally’s Law.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by developer Serina Nakajima.

It is priced at ¥5000 and is scheduled to release in mid-December, 2022. It can be preordered via Qrates here (please note that it’s a regular preorder and not a crowdfunding campaign).

The soundtrack to World For Two can now be preordered from Qrates

Composer Daisuke Shiiba is releasing his soundtrack for the adventure game World For Two on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single pocket jacket with artwork by Haf-Haf-Oden. It will be a limited run of 100 copies.

It is priced at ¥4500 and there is currently no ETA for when it will begin shipping. It can be preordered from Qrates here with 10 early bird copy available for ¥4000 (and please note that this is not a crowdfunding campaign, but a regular preorder).

Chill King’s Quest vinyl arrangement album up for backing on Qrates

Two Guys Records have launched a Qrates crowdfunding campaign for a chill-out/electronica reimagining of music from the King’s Quest adventure games.

If successful the release will be a single LP on a “psychedelic” blue and green swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single pocket jacket with artwork by EpicPotatoFiend and Jon Paul Sapsford.

The campaign runs from now and until May 5, 2021 and needs at least 200 backers in order to become successful. It is priced at $17 and if successful it is scheduled to release around August, 2021. It can be backed on Qrates here.

The soundtrack to Crossniq+ can be backed on vinyl on Qrates

The composers for the arcade-style puzzle game Crossniq+ have launched a Qrates campaign in order to release the soundtrack on vinyl for the game’s first anniversary.

The campaign will need a minimum of 100 backers before midnight UTC on November 5, 2020 in order for the campaign to be successful.

If successful, the release will be a single LP on blue with white splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with the same artwork as the soundtrack’s digital release.

It is priced at $35 and if successful it is scheduled to ship in early 2021. It can be backed on Qrates here.

Awesomenauts 2LP release can be backed on Qrates

Composer SonicPicnic have launched a Qrates crowdfunding campaign for a vinyl release of their soundtrack to the 2D MOBA game Awesomenauts.

The campaign launched yesterday, June 24 and will end on August 14, 2020. It will require a minimum of 100 backers to succeed.

If successful, the release will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a regular single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Ronimo Games’ designers.

If the campaign hits 200 or more backers they will upgrade to a gatefold jacket, and if it hits 300 or more backers they will make it a picture disc release.

It is priced at €30 (excl. tax) and is set to release 2-3 months after the campaign ends. It can be backed on Qrates here.

A vinyl EP for the To Be On Top C64 soundtrack can be backed on Qrates

Composer Chris Hülsbeck have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Qrates in order to fund a vinyl release of his music for the Commodore 64 music action-adventure game To Be On Top. The release will be titled “SID Anthology: To Be On Top Original Sound Version”.

If funded the release will be a single 12″ EP on gold colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with the release title and the game’s opening screen on the front jacket.

The release is priced at $39 and the campaign needs 200 backers before June 15, 2020 in order to be successful. It can be backed on Qrates here.

Vinyl soundtrack for Super XYX now up for backing on Qrates

The self-proclaimed “electronic pewpewpew mayhem chiptunes” soundtrack to upcoming shoot ’em up, Super XYX, has a campaign for its vinyl release up on Qrates.

If the campaign is succesful the release will be a single LP on clear vinyl with green splatter. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with game art.

To succeed the campaign will need at least 100 backers before March 7, 2020. The album is priced at $25 and if the campaign is succesful it is scheduled to ship out 2-3 months after the campaign ends.

Space Quest IV reorchestrated album can be backed on Qrates

Space Quest Historian have launched a Qrates campaign for a vinyl release of his “Space Quest IV – Reorchestrated and Remixed” album.

As per the Qrates campaign description “the music has been reorchestrated with modern sound patches, but uses the original MIDI data from the game“. The campaign is non-profit and funds will only be used for the production of the vinyl release.

If the campaign is succesful the release will be a single LP on blue-in-black colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork.

To succeed the campaign will need at least 100 backers before March 2, 2020. The album is priced at €18.72 and if the campaign is succesful it is scheduled to ship out 2-3 months after the campaign ends.
