New Gimmick! arrangement album is now up for preorder on vinyl

Brave Wave and Black Screen Records have teamed up to release a brand new arrangement album of music from NES platformer Gimmick! on vinyl. The release also marks the debut of a new series from Brave Wave – the Perspective Series, which will be focusing on arrangements and remixes.

The release will be a 2LP on 180g neon green colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Hitoshi Ariga. It will also include liner notes by original composer Masashi Kageyama.

Black Screen Records also has a limited number of copies available that will come with a card signed by Kageyama.

It is priced at €39 and is scheduled to release in April, 2025. It can be preordered via Black Screen Records here.

Gimmick! Official Arranged Soundtrack - Front

Ship To Shore ready with preorders for the Gimmick vinyl soundtrack

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. recently announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to legendary NES platformer Gimmick on vinyl as their first vinyl release in partnership with developer Sunsoft.

The release will be a single LP available in three color variants – a green swirl variant (Ship To Shore exclusive), a clear with orange and green splatter variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a clear variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Mushbuh and will include an insert with liner notes by Anthony John Agnello and an interview with composer Masashi Kageyama.

It is priced at $30 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2023. It can be preordered from Ship To Shore PhonoCo. here.
