Music from the Atari 50 collection to be released on vinyl from Microids Records

Microids Records are releasing the music made for the Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration game collection. It includes the collection’s menu music and the music made for the 5 new reimagined games Quadratank, Yars’ Revenge Enhanced, Neo Breakout, VCTR-SCTR and Haunted Houses.

The release will be a single LP on gold-colored vinyl. It will be housed in a black jacket with the Atari 50 logo.

It is priced at around €36 and is scheduled to release in April, 2024. As of this post it is not yet available from Microids Records themselves, but several distributors are offering preorders now.

Flashback 2 vinyl soundtrack up for preorder from Microids Records

Microids Records are now taking preorders for the soundtrack to cyberpunk action adventure Flashback 2 on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on blue and the other on red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

It is priced at €40 and is scheduled to release around February 14, 2024. It can be preorered via Microids Records here.

UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast Of The Wolves is getting a vinyl soundtrack from Microids

Microids Records are releasing the soundtrack to anime-based action adventure game UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast Of The Wolves on vinyl.

The release will be a single 140g picture disc LP. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

It is priced at €35 and is scheduled to release around December 12, 2023. It can be preordered from Microids Records here.

Flashback arrangement and tribute album up for vinyl preorder from Respawned

Respawned Records have teamed up with Microids Records to release the album “Music For Cloned Memory” which is a tribute album to the classic 1992 Amiga game Flashback on vinyl. The album features arrangements of the game’s music as well as original tracks inspired by the game.

The release will be a single LP on “ghostly” green translucent with green splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by CranioDsgn.

It is priced at $30 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2023. It can be preorderd from Respawned Records here.

Agatha Christie: Murder On The Orient Express vinyl soundtrack up for preorders via Microids Records

Microids Records have launched preorders for the upcoming video game adaptation of Agatha Christie’s classic Murder On The Orient Express.

The release will be a single LP on gold colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with key art by Cedric Peyravernay.

It is priced at €30 and is scheduled to release around September 13, 2023. It can be preordered from Microids Records here.

They Are Billions and Arkanoid: Eternal Battle vinyl soundtracks up for preorder via Microids Records

Last month Microids Records announced their first release in partnership with Respawned Records, Toki. And now they’re ready with preorders for the first two vinyl soundtracks entirely on their own – one for survival strategy game They Are Billions and one for the modernized take on Arkanoid – titled Eternal Battle.

They Are Billions will be a 2LP on 140g red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with unannounced artwork.

Arkanoid: Eternal Battle will be a single disc EP on 140g blue colored vinyl. It will also be housed in a single-pocket jacket with yet-to-be announced art.

They Are Billions is priced at €40, while Arkanoid: Eternal Battle is priced at €20. They are both scheduled to release in July, 2023. They Are Billions can be preordered here, and Arkanoid: Eternal Battle can be preordered here.
