Return Of The Obra Dinn vinyl soundtrack now available for preorder

At long last there’s an announcement for a vinyl soundtrack release of the soundtrack to the 2018 exploration puzzle game Return Of The Obra Dinn from Innerspace and Ookami Koubou.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with artwork yet to be announced.

It is priced at ¥5500 and is scheduled to release around September 24, 2025. It can be preordered via Disk Union here.

EU folks can also preorder via Black Screen Records here, and Canadians can preorder via Very Ok Vinyl here.

Brighter Than Dawning Blue anniversary vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Ookami Koubou

Ookami Koubou are releasing a collection of vocal tracks from the visual novel Brighter Than Dawning Blue (Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro Na) on vinyl in celebration of the game’s 20th anniversary.

The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

It is priced at ¥10000 and is scheduled to release around September 20, 2025. It can be preordered via Disk Union here.

Music from AIR and Feel The Magic XX♥XY up for vinyl preorder via Disk Union labels

Ookami Koubou are reissuing the Analog Collector’s Edition 12″ for the visual novel AIR on vinyl for the first time since it’s original limited 2006 release, and Cassetron are releasing the single “I Will Die For You” from the DS game Feel The Magic XX♥XY.

AIR will be a 12″ on black vinyl, which differs from its original pressing, which was a picture disc. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. It will include an obi and also come with a slipmat featuring the jacket.

“I Will Die For You” will be a 7″ single on black vinyl. There are currently no details on the packaging for this title.

AIR is priced at ¥7700 and is scheduled to release on December 25, 2024, and “I Will Die For You” is priced at ¥2750 and is scheduled to release on December 4, 2024.

It is likely that additional distributors will be carrying both of these at a later time, but I have not seen it announced elsewhere yet.
