Ikaruga orders are now live from Data Discs

A few days ago Data Discs announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to the shoot ’em up game Ikaruga on vinyl and now orders are open.

It will be a single 180g LP in three different color variants – a limited edition clear with black and white splatter variant, a white variant, and a classic black variant.
It will be housed in a heavy-weight single pocket jacket with game art and includes an obi strip and four lithographic prints with art by Yasushi Suzuki.

It is priced at £21 and is in-stock, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions they cannot ship as fast as normal, but expect to have all orders shipped out by November 20, 2020.

Alien Storm and Alien Soldier to be released by Data Discs

Data Discs have been quiet for some time, but are now back with new vinyl releases for two Mega Drive soundtracks at once – the beat ’em up/shooter Alien Storm and the side scrolling run-and-gun Alien Soldier.

Alien Storm will be a single 180g LP cut at 45RPM. It will be available in three different color variants – a limited edition “seafoam” green translucent with “slime” green and brown splatter variant, a “slime” green variant, and a classic black variant.

It will be housed in a heavy single-pocket jacket with game art featuring embossed and spot varnished tentacles. It comes with a lithographic print.

Alien Soldier will be a 180g 2LP. It will also be available in three different color variants – a limited edition blue, frosted clear and grey tricolor with splatter variant, a grey opaque variant, and a classic black variant.

It will be housed in a heavy single-pocket jacket with game art. It comes with a fold-out poster and early orders will also include a set of three laminated character post cards.

Alien Storm is priced at £21 and Alien Soldier at £26. Both are scheduled to release no later than July 15, 2020.

Data Discs to release Radiant Silvergun soundtrack on vinyl

Earlier this year Data Discs announced that they would release the soundtrack to shoot’em up Radiant Silvergun on vinyl and now there’s finally details on the release.

The music will be remastered and the release features both the original arcade compositions on one disc and the Sega Saturn versions of tracks on the other.

The release will be a 180g 2LP available in three color variants – a limited edition orange/red/clear split and splatter variant, an orange translucent variant, and a classic black variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art and includes a double-sided lithographic print and a fold-out poster. Orders placed through Data Discs’ store will also include a sticker sheet.

It is priced at £26.50 and is set to begin shipping around mid-January, 2020. It can be preordered from Data Discs here at 7pm UK time (or earlier if you signed up for their newsletter codes).
