Castlevania piano arrangement album from Materia Collective now available on vinyl

Materia Collective are now taking vinyl orders for a new Castlevania series piano arrangement album titled simply “Piano Collections: Castlevania”.

The release is a 180g 45RPM 2LP set available in two color variants – a “blood” red translucent with black swirl colored vinyl variant (Materia exclusive), and a black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Boris Moncel.

It is priced at $40 and scheduled to release in Q1 2024. It can be ordered from Materia Collective here.

Longtime UK VGM specialist store Chipfreq are making their record label debut release with the soundtrack to cake-themed PvP beat ’em up Cake Bash on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on “strawberry frosting” pink colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Laura Hutton.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project now available to preorder on vinyl via Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games have opened vinyl preorders for the next title in their ongoing series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soundtrack releases and this time it’s music from the NES game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project.

The release will be a single LP available in multiple color variants:
– Black vinyl (retail)
– “Ooze” green vinyl with metallic foil jacket (Limited Run Games exclusive, 1000 copies)
– “Secret of the Ooze” glow-in-the-dark vinyl (Ship To Shore exclusive)
– “Turtle Power” Clear with red, orange and blue vinyl (Official Konami Shop exclusive, 500 copies)
And possibly more yet unannounced variants.

WRWTFWW Records are now taking preorders for the arrangement album Super Metroid Recreated by Jammin’ Sam Miller on vinyl.

Laced Records to release both Final Symphony albums on vinyl

Laced Records are now taking vinyl preorders for a reissue of Final Symphony and the first release of the newly released follow-up Final Symphony II. Both are albums with orchestral arrangements of music from the Final Fantasy series.

Final Symphony will be a 3LP available in two variants – a limited edition blue and purple swirl colored vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant.

Both will be housed in a wide-spined single-pocket jacket with printed inner sleeves.

iam8bit to release the Neon White soundtrack on vinyl

iam8bit have launched preorders for the vinyl soundtracks to action first-person shooter Neon White. It will be split into two separate releases titled “Part 1: The Wicked Heart” and “Part 2: The Burn That Cures”.

Part 1 will be a 2LP on red with black splatter and purple with black splatter colored vinyl, while Part 2 will be a 2LP on green with black splatter and blue with black splatter colored vinyl.
They will each be housed in a jacket with design by Ben Esposito and illustrations by Rebecca Ryan.

They are priced at $43 each and are both scheduled to release in Q1 2024. Part 1 can be preordered via iam8bit here, and Part 2 here.

Atomic Runner Chelnov vinyl soundtrack now available from Cassetron

Japanese label Cassetron are releasing the arcade and Mega Drive soundtracks for Atomic Runner Chelnov (now simply as Atomic Runner on Mega Drive) on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP, although as of now there are currently no details on what it and its packaging will look like.

It is priced at ¥4950 and is an open preorder until October 31, 2023. It is scheduled to release around December 20, 2023 and can currently be preordered via Disk Union, which requires a proxy for addresses outside of Japan. However, past releases from Cassetron have had distribution outside Japan later on, so it may be worth waiting for that.
