Materia Collective have opened up vinyl preorders for a soundtrack compilation of music from supernatural point-and-click adventure game The Darkside Detective and its sequel The Darkside Detective: A Fumble In The Dark.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on purple with black swirl and the other on green with black swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with glow-in-the-dark text on the front cover.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2023. It can be preordered from Materia Collective here and via Bandcamp here.

Mobile game Path To Nowhere is getting a vinyl release and preorders are live now

Aisno Games are releasing a gift box, which includes music from their mobile RPG Path To Nowhere on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on red translucent colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art, which in turn will be included in the gift box.

The gift box set also includes a poster, a coded letter, a printed tracklist, a set of themed business cards, a badge in a necklace, a replica ticket, and a large tinplate badge.

It is priced at 228 RMB and is scheduled to release in December, 2023. It can be preordered via Taobao here, although orders to outside of China requires a proxy service.

Diggers Factory and Silva Screen Records are teaming up to bring back volumes 1 and 2 of the The Essential Games Music Collection arrangement albums by London Music Works back on vinyl – but this time together in one release. They have previously been released on vinyl separately.

The release will be a 2LP on clear vinyl. It will be housed in a die-cut jacket with new artwork.

Preorders for a reissue of the 1987 Wizardry arrangement album We Love Wizardry now live

Lawson Entertainment are releasing a reissue of the 1987 arrangement album We Love Wizardry on vinyl. This is one that was originally released on vinyl back then, but has since become difficult (or at least very expensive) to find a copy of. The arrangement is for the NES game Wizardry: Proving Grounds Of The Mad Overlord and is handled by the game’s original composer Kentaro Haneda.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork similar to its original release. It is currently unclear if this reissue will include an insert or sticker like the original release.

It is priced at ¥4400 and is scheduled to release on November 3, 2023. It can be preordered from HMV Japan here.

Limited Run Games ready with Castlevania Game Boy Advance vinyl soundtracks

Limited Run Games are releasing the soundtracks to the three Castlevania games made for Game Boy Advance on vinyl – Circle Of The Moon, Harmony Of Dissonance, and Aria Of Sorrow.

Circle Of The Moon will be a single LP available in two color variants – a green and black split variant, and a green and black swirl variant (Konami Shop exclusive). It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

Harmony Of Dissonance will be a single LP available in two color variants – a red and black split variant, and a red and white swirl variant (Konami Shop exclusive). It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

Aria Of Sorrow will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a white and black split variant, and a white and black swirl with black splatter variant (Konami Shop variant). It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

Circle Of The Moon and Harmony Of Dissonance are priced at $30 and Aria Of Sorrow at $40 (although each is an additional $5 on the Konami Shop). The Limited Run variants are available as an open preorder from now and until September 10, 2023. They are all scheduled to release 8-9 months after preorders close.

Hi-Fi Rush vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder via Laced Records

Laced Records have launched preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush.

The release will be a 4LP available in two variants – a limited edition on clear with red and blue splatter, green translucent with green and blue splatter, yellow translucent with yellow and blue splatter, and red translucent with red and blue splatter colored vinyl, as well as a standard black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in printed sleeves within a slipcase box set with game art by developer Tango Gameworks.
