Undertale Piano Collections vinyl box set now up for preorder from Materia Collective

Materia Collective are releasing the Undertale piano arrangement album Undertale Piano Collections on vinyl. It is a compilation of the Undertale Piano Collections vols. 1 and 2 digital releases, of which the first one received a previous vinyl pressing as “Undertale On Piano” in 2017.

The release will be a 4LP set available in two color variants – a black vinyl variant, and a “heart” red colored vinyl variant (IGN exclusive, 500 copies).
It will be housed in a slipcase box set with printed sleeves featuring artwork by Nise and will also come with a 36-page hardcover art book.

It is priced at $100 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2026. It can be preordered via Materia Collective here, and the IGN exclusive version can be preordered from the IGN Store here.

New piano arrangement album “Piano Realms: Azure” up for vinyl preorder from Mecha Dream Records

Mecha Dream Records are releasing the piano arrangement album “Piano Realms: Azure”, which features arrangements of water levels from the following games – Sea Of Stars, Donkey Kong Country, Chrono Cross, Abzu, Outer Wilds: Echoes Of The Eye, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario 64, and Hyper Light Drifter.

The release will be a single LP available in three different vinyl color variants – a “Clear Shores” clear vinyl variant, a “Seafoam” green translucent with white swirl colored variant, and a “Deep Sea” dark blue swirl colored variant.
It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by A Liang Chan (aka Formyths).

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to begin shipping around April 25, 2025. It can be preordered via Mecha Dream Records’ Bandcamp here. Please note that only the “Clear Shores” variant is currently available, with the others listed as “available soon”.

UPDATE: Since this post was originally published the vinyl tracklist have been corrected on the store page. This means that the tracks from Final Fantasy VII, The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time and Ori And The Will Of The Wisps are not present on the vinyl release and only the digital release.

Gris piano arrangement album up for preorder via Materia Collective

Materia Collective have just announced that they are releasing a new piano arrangement album of music from the indie platformer Gris on vinyl.

The release will be a 140g 2LP on grey swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by developer Nomada Studio as well as layout and product design by Rozen and Isa Alcántara. It will include a 12-page booklet with sketches and game concept art and it will be limited to 2000 copies.

It is priced at $50 and is scheduled to release in January, 2022. It can be preordered from Materia Collective here.

Hollow Knight Piano Collections vinyl preorder up via Materia Collective

Materia Collective have announced that they will be releasing a piano arrangement album for Hollow Knight on vinyl.

The release will be a 180g 2LP on black-in-clear colored vinyl. It will be housed in a tip-on gatefold foil-numbered jacket with illustrations by Nise and product design by Rozen and Isa Alcántra. It will comes with a 24-page artbook.

It is priced at $39 and is scheduled to release in March, 2020. It can be preordered from Materia Collective’s Bandcamp here.

“Undertale on Piano” 2LP coming from iam8bit and Materia Collective

iam8bit have announced that they are collaborating with Materia Collective on a series of video game music piano cover albums titled Series 88.

The first release in this series will be piano covers of Toby Fox’ Undertale soundtrack. The arrangements for the covers are done by David Peacock and performed by Augstine Mayuga Gonzales.

The album will be a 2LP on 180g cream white and red vinyl. The cover art will be done by Andy DeGiulio and is an homage to classic piano and jazz covers. This art style will supposedly be present throughout this series of piano releases.

Preorders placed before March 19, 2017 comes with a chance to win a copy of the Annoying Dog Song 7″, which was originally released together with the Undertale Soundtrack.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in Q2, 2017. Preorders open on March 15, 2017 via iam8bit’s US store here and their UK/EU store here.
