Last year Black Screen Records released a indie game music compilation series titled Sounds Of Summer and now they’re ready with the 2021 entry in this series.
It features music from the following 14 different indie games – Kraken Academy, We Are OFK, Battle Bands, Jitsu Squad, Lunistice, Guinea Pig Parkour, Venba, Holomento, Chained Echoes, Born Of Bread, Knuckle Sandwich, Ruffy And The Riverside, Dome-King Cabbage, and Raptor Boyfriend: A High School Romance.
The release will be a single LP on 180g black vinyl. It comes in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Elora Pautrat and layout by Dane Baudoin. It also includes an insert with track credits.
Black Screen Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the visual novel puzzle game Murder By Numbers on vinyl.
The release will be a 180g 2LP with one record on purple and the other on yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket featuring by developer Mediatonic and layout by Dane Baudoin. It will also include a download code for a digital copy of the album as well as a “SCOUT” enamel pin.
When Thunderful launched their online store earlier this year they also announced the vinyl release of the Alwa’s Awakening soundtrack and now it is finally available.
The release is a single LP on green translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork featuring illustrations Manuel Samolo and graphic design by Dane Baudoin. It is limited to 250 copies.
Black Screen Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the upcoming adventure game Röki on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g turquoise colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with art from the game. It will include a free download code for the soundtrack for both Steam and Bandcamp.
Additionally, they are also offering enamel pins and cloth badges designed by Dane Baudoin. These are available both separately and as a bundle with the vinyl soundtrack.
Black Screen Records have just announced that they will be releasing Olivier Derivière’s soundtrack to the game Vampyr on vinyl.
The release will be a 180g 2LP available in two color variants – red with black splatter, and red and black marble. It comes in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Dontnod concept artist Florent Auguy and additional layout by Dane Baudoin. The album also includes a digital download code.
The red with black splatter variant is a US retail exclusive while the red and black marble variant is for EU/Rest of the world. There will also be a limited bundle option with both variants, which will also include a CD signed by composer Olivier Derivière. A CD version will also be available.
Late yesterday Limited Run Games announced that they will be selling vinyl soundtracks for the two Mike Bithell games Volume and Thomas Was Alone. Both are composed by David Housden.
Volume will be a single black 180g LP housed in a single pocket jacket with game art. The vinyl release for this is handled by Laced Records.
Thomas Was Alone will be a single blue translucent 180g LP housed in a single pocket jacket with layout handled by Dane Baudoin. The vinyl release for this is handled by Black Screen Records. It is identical to the vinyl release from last year except for the record being on blue instead of red or black.
Both titles are limited to 500 copies (although some sources have said that Volume is actually 800 copies). They will both go on sale on May 4, 2018 at 10AM EST.

The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – limited edition opaque white and classic black. It will be housed in a regular record jacket with original artwork by Crytek and additional layout by Dane Baudoin. It also comes with a download code.
It was recently teased as a preorder on a series of online stores, but now we have an official announcement. Black Screen Records will be releasing Jean-François Freitas’ soundtrack to the classic adventure game Another World (known as Out Of This World in the US).
The game, which was originally developed for the Amiga in 1991, recently celebrated it’s 25th anniversary and have been launched on modern consoles. The release features the music from the 20th anniversary release of the game + bonus tracks from the Amiga and 2004 PC versions.
The vinyl release will be single LP in regular record jacket. It features artwork and layout by Dane Baudoin based on original artwork by the game’s creator Éric Chahi.
There will be no less than 4 different variants available. An orange version sold via Black Screen Records, a black version sold via various retail outlets, a blue version sold on the game’s official store, and finally a special US version which is yet to be revealed.
