Limited Run Games are now taking orders for a vinyl soundtrack release for first-person puzzle game Q.U.B.E. 2. The release is actually by Laced Records, but is released exclusively via Limited Run Games.
The release is a single LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art and is limited to 300 copies.
The release will be a 2LP on “Pimple” pink. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with 3D pop-up fist artwork by Alex Pardee. 500 randomly chosen preorders from iamb8it will also get a “Rash’s Toadally Rad Adventure” cassette tape.
Late yesterday Limited Run Games announced that they will be selling vinyl soundtracks for the two Mike Bithell games Volume and Thomas Was Alone. Both are composed by David Housden.
Volume will be a single black 180g LP housed in a single pocket jacket with game art. The vinyl release for this is handled by Laced Records.
Thomas Was Alone will be a single blue translucent 180g LP housed in a single pocket jacket with layout handled by Dane Baudoin. The vinyl release for this is handled by Black Screen Records. It is identical to the vinyl release from last year except for the record being on blue instead of red or black.
Both titles are limited to 500 copies (although some sources have said that Volume is actually 800 copies). They will both go on sale on May 4, 2018 at 10AM EST.
Black Screen Records just announced that they will be releasing David Housden’s soundtrack to the game Thomas Was Alone on vinyl.
The release will be single 180g LP in two color variants – red or black vinyl. It is housed in a regular record jacket with artwork by Dane Baudoin. It includes a download code for a digital copy of the album.
