New Viva Piñata arrangement album up for vinyl preorder via Materia Collective

Materia Collective have just launched preorders for the vinyl release of a brand new Viva Piñata arrangement album called “Rare Treats: Viva Piñata Revisited”. It is arranged by original composer Grant Kirkhope.

The release will be a 2LP on clear with “confetti” multicolor splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Steven Mayles.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q3 2026. It can be preordered via the Materia Store here and their Bandcamp here.

A collection of shanties from Sea Of Thieves is up for vinyl preorder via iam8bit

iam8bit have opened up preorders for a vinyl collection of shanties from pirate action adventure game Sea Of Thieves. They have previously released a selection of music from the game’s score on vinyl as well.

The release will be a single LP on “lagoon” light blue translucent colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with a printed inner sleeve all featuring new artwork by Natalie Andrewson.

It is priced at $32 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2025. It can be preordered via iam8bit here.

Rare 40th Anniversary Collection vinyl box set now available from iam8bit

iam8bit are celebrating developer Rare’s 40th anniversary with a vinyl box set featuring a selection of music from several of their games.
The set features music from Battletoads In Battlemaniacs, Battletoads (NES and Arcade), Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Sea Of Thieves, Viva Piñata, Kinect Sports, Kinect Sports: Season Two, Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark Zero, Killer Instinct, Killer Instinct Gold, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Conker: Live & Reloaded, Jet Force Gemini, Grabbed By The Ghoulies, Blast Corps, and Kameo: Elements Of Power.

The release will be a 4LP set on “Shades of Rareware” orange marble, blue marble, red marble, and purple marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in an open-lid box set with individual jackets all with new artwork by Lewy Jones. The set will also include a felt slip mat.

Lofi GoldenEye 007 arrangement album now up for preorder via Curaga Records

Curaga Records have launched preorders for a lofi hiphop arrangement album of music from N64 classic GoldenEye 007. It will be part of their “Video Game LoFi” series.

The release will be a single 180g LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Save Point and layout by Isa Alcántara.

It is priced at $28 and is scheduled to release in May, 2023. It can be preordered from Curaga Records’ Bandcamp here.

Fangamer releasing Banjo-Tooie vinyl soundtrack

Fangamer have just opened up orders for a vinyl soundtrack release to 3D platformer – and Banjo-Kazooie sequel – Banjo-Tooie.

The release will be a 4LP set on black vinyl. It will be housed in a slipcase box set with new artwork by Andrew Kolb done in a similar style to that of Fangamer’s Banjo-Kazooie release. It will include printed inner sleeves and an insert with liner notes by composer Grant Kirkhope.

It is priced at $64 and is in hand and shipping soon. It can be ordered via Fangamer here.

Donkey Kong Country 2 arrangement Banana Jamz 2 up for vinyl preorder

Cartridge Thunder have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack release of Donkey Kong Country 2 arrangement album, Banana Jamz 2.

The release will be a 2LP available in three color variants – a clear with pink and yellow splatter variant, a “Lost World” red and orange swirl variant (Light In The Attic exclusive), and a red with yellow splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive).
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Gobo 3D.

Banjo Kazooie Re-Jiggyed arrangement now up for vinyl preorder

Respawned Records are releasing the Banjo Kazooie arrangement album Re-Jiggyed – arranged and performed by original composer Grant Kirkhope – on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP available in 5 different color variants – “jiggy” yellow (200 copies), “bird” red (300 copies), “bear” brown (300 copies), “grunty” green (100 copies), and classic black (100 copies).
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Del Northern and will also include an art insert.

It is priced at $40 and it is scheduled to release in Q3 2022. It was available via Respawned Records here, however, it is sold out there as of this post.

The release is a single LP on “Toadjam” orange translucent with black splatter colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Satterion. It is a pressing of 500 copies.

The release will be a 2LP light and dark blue translucent marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket featuring new artwork by Rebecca Ryan.
