Ape Escape vinyl box set now up for preorder via Cartridge Thunder

Cartridge Thunder are releasing the acclaimed soundtrack to 1999 PlayStation platformer Ape Escape on vinyl. The release will include the full soundtrack except for the tracks that were included on the recently released Apes In The Net EP (for licensing reasons).

The release will be a 4LP on red translucent, white, yellow and blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a slipcase box set with new artwork by Gobo3D. It will include liner notes by composer Soichi Terada.

It is priced at $88 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2025. It can be preordered via Cartridge Thunder here.

Donkey Kong Country 2 arrangement Banana Jamz 2 up for vinyl preorder

Cartridge Thunder have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack release of Donkey Kong Country 2 arrangement album, Banana Jamz 2.

The release will be a 2LP available in three color variants – a clear with pink and yellow splatter variant, a “Lost World” red and orange swirl variant (Light In The Attic exclusive), and a red with yellow splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive).
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Gobo 3D.

It is priced at $42 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2023. It can be preordered from Cartridge Thunder here, Light In The Attic here, and Ship To Shore here.
