That Mondo is releasing The Last Of Us-related prints and records on Outbreak Day is almost tradition at this point – and this year is no different as they have opened up vinyl preorders for the soundtrack to The Last Of Us Part II.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g vinyl available in two color variants – a standard black variant and a orange and a blue color-in-color with splatter variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Tula Lotay and will include an insert with liner notes by game director Neil Druckmann.
It is priced at $35 and the first (and as of this post sold-out) pressing will release in December, 2020, while a second pressing which is available now will ship in January, 2021. It can be preordered from Mondo here.
This release will contain Volume One of the The Last Of Us soundtrack with Volume Two being released sometime in 2019 (and not available to preorder yet). Together these two releases will have the same tracks as the ones previously available in the box set.
The release will be a 2LP and available on 180g green, white and blue swirl, and classic black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Sam Wolfe Connelly.
Furthermore we got some extra info on the set. It will be a 4LP slipcase on good ol’ black vinyl – no color options. Artwork is done by Olly Moss and Jay Shaw (see pictures below) and the soundtrack will include music from the “Left Behind” DLC. As rumored the price have also been confirmed to be $75.
No word on any limitations, so I’m gonna guess that there will be plenty of these bad boys.
