Halo trilogy vinyl box set collection now available to preorder from Laced Records

Laced Records are releasing a collection of music from the first three games in popular shooter series Halo on vinyl. It is both available in a box set and as individual releases.

The release will be an 8 LP set available in two color variants – a limited edition green and black “galaxy” swirl, orange and black “galaxy” swirl, and blue and black “galaxy” swirl colored vinyl variant, and a standard edition black vinyl variant.
They will be housed in printed wide-spined jackets within a silver laminate board box all with sleeve artwork by Isaac Hannaford.

The standalone releases will be a 2LP and two 3LPs for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3 respectively. The vinyl colors available and jackets will be identical to those within the box set.

The box is priced at £140, Halo: Combat Evolved at £36 and Halo 2+3 at £50 each and all are set to release in April, 2025. They can be preordered from Laced Records here.

16-bit Halo arrangement album up for preorder via Respawned

Respawned Records have just announced their “Demastered” series, which will be a series of modern game soundtrack demastered to appear as if they were 16-bit SNES soundtracks. The first soundtrack to get the demaster treatment is the soundtrack to the classic first-person shooter Halo.

The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – “Chief” green & orange swirl colored vinyl, and “Cortana” purple & black swirl colored vinyl. They will be limited to 500 copies each.
It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Tom Pollock Jr. and will include an insert.

It is priced at $28 and is scheduled to release in late Q1 2021. It can be preordered from Respawned Records here.

Bungie to release The Music Of Destiny, Vol. I 6LP box set

Bungie have announced that they are releasing The Music Of Destiny, Vol. I on vinyl – including the long-fabled and recently leaked Music Of The Spheres.

The release will be a 6LP box set with each record housed inside a custom printed inner. Each set will be individually numbered and include a booklet and a pin. A download code will be sent via e-mail out immediately after ordering.

It is priced at $100 and is scheduled to release in late 2018. It is available to preorder now via the Bungie Store. Please note that this is an open preorder that will close on June 15, 2018 at midnight PST.
