Fangamer have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to the platforming game LocoRoco on vinyl.
The release is a 2LP with one record on yellow and the other on pink colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Mushbuh.
It is priced at $35 and was available to order from Fangamer here. However, as of this post it has sold out, but Fangamer will have additional copies available later in December.
Black Screen Records have teamed up with Wholesome Games for a game music compilation album on vinyl featuring tracks from various wholesome games. All proceeds for this will be donated to the Galaxy Fund charity.
The following games will be represented on the compilation with one track each: A Short Hike, Assemble With Care, Button City, Calico, Chicory, Garden Story, Here Comes Nico, Hoa, Kind Words, Lonesome Village, Onsen Master, Ooblets, Pekoe, Potionomics, Rainy Season, Rolling Hills, Snacko, The Spirit And The Mouse, Spiritfarer, Wattam, and Webbed.
The release will be a single LP on purple opaque colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Mushbuh. It will also include a 12″ insert with credits and liner notes.
It is priced at €29 and is scheduled to release in March/April, 2021. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

Columbia Japan have announced that they will be releasing a new arrangement album for the RPG MOTHER (rereleased as EarthBound Beginnings in the West). The arrangement is handled by original composer Keiichi Suzuki.
The release will be a 2LP, but currently there does not appear to be any further information about the packaging outside of the cover artwork (see at the bottom of this post).
It is priced at ¥6050 and is scheduled to release on January 27, 2021. It can be preordered from Amazon Japan here, HMV Japan here, and CDJapan here.
Earlier this week Strictly Limited Games announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to the cancelled-and-once again-revived retro platformer Clockwork Aquario on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP on picture disc vinyl, which will be housed in a plain clear sleeve. It will be limited to 499 copies.
It is priced at €50 and is scheduled to release in February/March, 2021. It can be preordered from Strictly Limited Games here at midnight CET.
Fangamer have just opened preorders for the vinyl release of the soundtrack to 2D action platformer Katana Zero.
The release will be a 2LP with one record on dark purple with white splatter and dark red with white splatter. It will be housed in a UV gloss-coated gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves featuring artwork by Dave Zhang.
Limited Run Games will also be receiving an exclusive variant at a later date.
It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in January, 2021. It can be preordered from Fangamer here.

When Thunderful launched their online store earlier this year they also announced the vinyl release of the Alwa’s Awakening soundtrack and now it is finally available.
The release is a single LP on green translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork featuring illustrations Manuel Samolo and graphic design by Dane Baudoin. It is limited to 250 copies.
It is priced at 250 SEK (~€25) and is in hand and ready to ship. It can be ordered from Thunderful’s store here.
Earlier this Fall Brave Wave announced that they would release the soundtrack to the action adventure game Shenmue III on vinyl in a series of different versions and now preorders have opened.
The Shenmue III complete soundtrack has a little overlap with 3 tracks also present on Data Discs Shenmue LP and 4 tracks on their upcoming Shenmue II LP.
It will be available in the following versions:
– A complete soundtrack housed in an 11LP box set featuring new artwork by original Shenmue artist Kenji Miyawaki. Each record comes on a different color vinyl and will be housed in individual sleeves with game artwork.
There will also be 500 copies available that include an A4 poster signed by game creator Yu Suzuki.
– A 5LP “Vol. 1 Bailu Village” box set containg music from the first half of the game. The box set will feature each record on a different color vinyl and they will be housed in individual sleeves with game art.
– A 6LP “Vol. 2 Niaowu” box set containg music from the second half of the game. The box set will feature each record on a different color vinyl and they will be housed in individual sleeves with game art.
– A 2LP on gold and silver colored vinyl that features a selection of tracks from the soundtrack. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.
All sets will include a booklet with artwork and liner notes, as well as a download code for a digital copy of the soundtrack.
All versions of this release are set to come out around April, 2021.

Coastline Northern Cuts are releasing the soundtrack to the visual novel Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows Of New York on vinyl.
The release is a single LP on purple colored vinyl. It will be housed in a matter single-pocket jacket with violet metallic print. It is a pressing of 300 copies.
It is priced at 80 PLN / $25 and is scheduled to release on November 27, 2020.

Respawned Records have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the retro-styled action-adventure game Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King.
The release will be a single LP on clear with “blossom kingdom” green, yellow and red splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with game art. It will also include an insert with game art and is limited to 300 copies.

Earlier this month Brave Wave announced a whole slew of upcoming titles including the final title in the Art Of Fighting series of Neo-Geo fighting games – Art Of Fighting 3: The Path Of The Warrior.
The release will be a 2LP with one record on clear and the other on orange colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will also include a booklet with artwork and liner notes as well as a download code.
A limited number of copes that comes with an A4 poster signed by pixel artist Nobuyuki Kuroki will also be available.
A boxed collection of all three Art Of Fighting releases is also available to preorder, as well as an empty box for those who already own the previous releases.
It is priced at $38/€35 (signed copies at $48/€45) and is an open preorder from now and until December 13, 2020 on Limited Run Games. It is scheduled to release in February, 2021.
