Limited Run Games have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to 2D platformer EarthNight.
The release will be a 2LP on “cloudy” blue and light blue swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It is limited to 300 copies.
It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release 4-5 months from today. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.
Earlier this year Brave Wave announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to vertical shooter DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou on vinyl – and now preorders are live.
The release will be a single LP on green translucent vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with game art. It will include a booklet with liner notes and a download card.
It is priced at €30/$28 and is scheduled to release in May, 2021. It will be an open preorder from today and until January 10, 2021.

Following the announcement of detective RPG Disco Elysium being released on all modern consoles iam8bit also dropped the news that they are releasing its soundtrack on vinyl.
The release will be available in two 3LP editions – an open edition on black vinyl housed in a triple gatefold jacket, and a limited edition of 2000 copies on marbled colored vinyl in a fold-out origami jacket with alternate artwork.
Artwork on both editions will be done by Anton Vill & Alexander Rostov, while the origami jacket is engineered by Poposition Press.
The open edition is priced at $60 and the limited edition at $130. Both are scheduled to release in Q2 2021.

This Monday Mondo announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to the standalone expansion for Marvel’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales, on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP available in two 180g vinyl variants – a variant with one record on blue and red tricolor vinyl and the other on purple and green tricolor vinyl, and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket featuring new artwork by Chun Lo.
It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in February, 2021. It can be preordered from Mondo here.
Diggers Factory have put up a crowdfunding campaign in order to fund a vinyl release for the soundtrack to the new adventure game Twin Mirror.
If successful the release will be a single LP on 180g green vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art and liner notes by composer David Wingo. It will be limited to 1000 copies.
The campaign ends on January 8, 2021. It is priced at €23 and if successful it is scheduled to release in March, 2021.

Wayô Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the SNES god sim / action platforming game ActRaiser on vinyl. It will feature the game’s original soundtrack on disc one and a 2018 symphonic suite on disc two.
The release will be a 2LP on “divine” blue translucent with black and white swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with printed inner sleeves featuring new illustrations by Ayano Koshiro. It will also include a booklet with liner notes by composer Yuzo Koshiro and the arrangement team.
The first 250 preorders will include a shikishi art print signed by Yuzo Koshiro.

Video game jazz musician insaneintherain have just announced that he’s releasing a selection of tracks from his upcoming Pokémon Diamond & Pearl jazz arrangement album “Sinnohvation” on vinyl. It will feature a selection of 6 tracks and is titled “Sinnoh Fusion Ensemble Selection”.
The release will be a single LP on blue and purple hand-poured vinyl. It will be housed in a single pocket jacket with artwork by Rachel EB. It will include a double-sided insert and is limited to 300 signed copies.

I somehow completely missed this release, but better late than never, as they say. On Black Friday Demon Records opened preorders to the soundtrack to VR adventure game Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time on vinyl.
The release is a 140g 2LP with one record on purple and the other on red colored vinyl. The d-side is etched with the “Seal of Rassilon”. It comes in a gatefold jacket with game art.
It is priced at £27/$35 and is available via Amazon UK here and Amazon US here. It is scheduled to release on January 22, 2021.
It does appear that the stores are limited to only ship to the UK and US respectively, but it does also seem that more distributors are slowly getting this.
Laced Records have just announced that they will be releasing music from the 2D action sandbox game Terraria on vinyl.
The release will be a 3LP in two 180g vinyl variants – a limited edition green colored vinyl variant and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork from developer Re-Logic.
It is priced at £45 and is scheduled to release in March, 2021. It can be preordered from Laced Records here.
Ship To Shore have been dropping teasers for this one for some time now, but now they are finally ready with preorders for the vinyl soundtrack 1997 Playstation platformer Klonoa: Door To Phantomile.
The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a limited edition blue-in-blue colored version (exclusive to Ship To Shore), and a clear vinyl retail variant. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise. It will also include an insert with archival artwork and liner notes by Jeremy Parish.
It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in early January, 2021. It can be preordered from Ship To Shore’s store here.
