Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game vinyl reissue up via Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games recently announced that they would do a physical release for the “Complete Edition” release of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and today they also announced a vinyl release of the soundtrack.

The soundtrack was first released on vinyl for Record Store Day back in 2014 in limited quantities. This new reissue includes a bonus 10″ with previously unreleased music from the game, which was not included with the 2014 vinyl release.

This new release will be an LP and a 10″. The LP will be on yellow colored vinyl and the 10″ on red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Christy Frisby and Julia Scott.

It is priced at $35 and is an open preorder available for the next 6 weeks starting today. It is scheduled to release 4-5 months after preorders close.

Mutant Mudds vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Cartridge Thunder

Shortly ago Cartridge Thunder announced their vinyl release of the soundtrack to 2D platformer Mutant Mudds and now they have opened up preorders.
The vinyl soundtrack will also feature tracks from the game Mudd Blocks, which is included in the Mutant Mudds Collection.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on blue and the other on orange colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Jorge M. Velez. It also features liner notes by composer Troupe Gammage.

It is priced at $33 and is scheduled to release in June, 2021. It can be preordered from Cartridge Thunder’s store here.

For EU customers it will also be available later at Black Screen Records.

Banjo-Kazooie ska arrangement LP now available from Respawned

We’re just two days into 2021 and we already have our first release up for order as Respawned are releasing a ska arrangement album for the soundtrack to classic 3D platformer Banjo-Kazooie titled Banjo-Skazooie.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a “Skazooie” black and white swirl with black splatter variant, and a “Jiggy Jam” yellow translucent with black smoke variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork.

It is priced at $35 and is in hand and expected to begin shipping next week. It can be ordered from Respawned Records here. In addition, it is also 10% off for the first 24 hours.

Super Meat Boy Forever vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Yetee Records

Yetee Records are releasing the soundtrack to the platformer Super Meat Boy Forever on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on red with black splatter and the on the grey with red splatter “Sawblade” colored vinyl. It will be housed in a double-wide sleeve with new artwork by Jango Snow. It is limited to 300 copies.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2021. It can be preordered from The Yetee here.

Preorders for Panzer Paladin vinyl soundtrack up via Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games have just opened up preorders for a the vinyl soundtrack to side-scrolling action platformer Panzer Paladin.

The release will be a 3LP on grey marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by Corey Lewis.

It is priced at $45 and is an open preorder, which is available from now and until January 24, 2021. It is scheduled to release 4-5 months after preorders close.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake vinyl soundtrack from Brave Wave up for preorder

Brave Wave are releasing the new rearranged score by Saori Kobayashi for Panzer Dragoon: Remake on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on blue and the other on orange colored vinyl. It will be house din a gatefold jacket with game art. It will include a booklet with liner notes as well as a download card.
There will also be 500 copies available, which will come with an A4 poster signed by Saori Kobayashi.

It is priced at €40/$40 (€40/$50 for the signed version) and is scheduled to release in May, 2021.

Crowdfunding campaign for Dragon Oath double vinyl soundtrack now live

Dadu Records have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Modian for a vinyl soundtrack release to Chinese MMORPG Dragon Oath – also known as Tian Long Ba Bu (天龙八部).

The release will be a 2LP on clear with white and gold splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gold-foiled and debossed gatefold jacket. It is limited to 1000 numbered copies.

It is priced at 368 RMB and is in-hand and appears to be ready to ship in January, 2021. The campaign ends on January 15, 2021.

It can be backed on Modian here (although it appears you may have to use a proxy service in order to place an order outside of China).

Preorders for the Persona 5 Royal vinyl soundtrack now up via iam8bit

Yesteday iam8bit announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the dungeon crawler JRPG Persona 5 Royal on vinyl alongside several repressings of previous titles (including the Persona 5 4LP set).

The release will be a 3LP on colored vinyl. It will be housed in an “interactive die-cut window” jacket and gold-foil printed inner sleeves with artwork by Drew Wise, although the actual artwork has yet to be announced.

Preorders placed before December 31, 2020 will also include a bonus 7″ with the track “Hymn of the Soul”.

It is priced at $75 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2021. It can be preordered via iam8bit here.

Strictly Limited Games to release Wonder Boy: Asha In Monster world vinyl soundtrack

Stricly Limited Games are releasing the soundtrack to the remastered Wonder Boy IV titled Wonder Boy: Asha In Monster World on vinyl.

The release will be a picture disc 2LP and will be housed in a clear PVC sleeve. It will be limited to 499 copies.

It is priced at €50 and is scheduled to release in April/May, 2021. It can be preordered via Strictly Limited Games here at 6pm CET.

Laced Records to release Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege vinyl soundtrack

Laced Records have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege on vinyl for the game’s fifth anniversary.

The release will be a 180g 2LP with one record on black and the other on white vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket.

It is priced at £33 and is scheduled to release in January, 2021. It can be preordered from Laced Records here.
