Complete 1986-2010 Castlevania soundtracks up for preorder in massive vinyl box set via Materia Collective

Materia Collective are now taking preorders the biggest ever video game music release on vinyl as all Castlevania soundtracks between 1986 to 2010 gets its own massive box set.

It will include the music from Castlevania (Disk System, NES, MSX, X68000 CM-64, X68000 SM-55), Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest (Disk System, NES), Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Castlevania: The Adventure, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge, Kid Dracula (Famicom, Game Boy), Castlevania Legends, Haunted Castle, Super Castlevania IV, Dracula X, Castlevania: Rondo Of Blood, Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles, Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon, Castlevania (N64), Castlevania: Legacy Of Darkness, Castlevania Chronicles, Castlevania Judgment, Castlevania: The Arcade, Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, Castlevania Symphony Of The Night (PlayStation, Saturn), Castlevania: Bloodlines, Castlevania: Lament Of Innocence, Castlevania: Harmony Of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow, Castlevania: Dawn Of Sorrow, Castlevania: Curse Of Darkness, Castlevania: Portrait Of Ruin, Castlevania: Order Of Ecclesia, and Castlevania: Harmony Of Despair.

Several of the recordings will be newly sourced for this release.

The release will be a 46LP set. It will be house in two outer boxes all housing individual jackets all with new artwork by Johnny Dombrowski. It will include liner notes by Jeremy Parish for each game. It will be limited to 500 individually numbered units.

It is priced at $550 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2025. It can be preordered via Materia Collective here.

Contra ReBirth vinyl soundtrack now available to preorder from Ship To Shore PhonoCo.

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing the soundtrack to the Wii-exclusive run-and-gun Contra ReBirth on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a purple-i-clear colored vinyl variant, and a limited edition clear with blue, purple and magenta splatter colored vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

The soundtrack to classic Sega JRPG Phantasy Star IV: The End Of The Millennium finally gets a proper vinyl release, which is up for preorder via Ship To Shore PhonoCo. now.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a pink and purple swirl variant (Ship To Shore exclusive) and a clear variant.
It will be housed in a jacket with game art and will include an 8-page booklet with archival artwork and liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

The release will be a 2LP in three color variants – a limited edition blue with white splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive), a “Mega Man Helment” blue and white variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a clear vinyl retail variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by mushbuh and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

Ship To Shore have been dropping teasers for this one for some time now, but now they are finally ready with preorders for the vinyl soundtrack 1997 Playstation platformer Klonoa: Door To Phantomile.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a limited edition blue-in-blue colored version (exclusive to Ship To Shore), and a clear vinyl retail variant. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise. It will also include an insert with archival artwork and liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in early January, 2021. It can be preordered from Ship To Shore’s store here.

Preorders for the Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa! 7″ open tomorrow via Ship To Shore

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa! on vinyl as part of their Konami Kukeiha Club Museum Series.

The release will be a 7″ on pink vinyl and housed in a regular 7″ jacket with brand new artwork by Drew Wise. The jacket will have an OBI an include a double-sided poster with art by Austin James and liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

It will be priced at $13 and is scheduled to release mid-June 2018. Preorders will open tomorrow May 16, 2018 at 12PM EST from Ship To Shore PhonoCo.’s store.

Rocket Knight Adventures and Kid Dracula can be preordered from Ship To Shore now

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. just opened preorders for their previously announced vinyl releases of the Konami Kukeiha Club soundtracks to Rocket Knight Adventures and Kid Dracula.

Rocket Knight Adventures will be a single LP on “Rocket Flash” red and yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with artwork from the game.

Kid Dracula will be a 10″ on red vinyl with black splatter. It will be housed in a 10″ jacket with design by Drew Wise and it includes a poster with new art by Austin James and liner notes by Jeremy Parish. Kid Dracula will be the second entry in Ship To Shore’s “Konami Kukeiha Club Museum Series”.

Kid Dracula will be the Famicom version of the soundtrack.

Both releases are priced at $20 and are scheduled to release around December 9, 2017.

I’ve asked about EU distribution and Ship To Shore said that both titles will likely be available from an EU vendor, although there’s no ETA on when.
There’s also been some rumors on a possible exclusive Yetee variant for Rocket Knight Adventures, but no news on that one either. I’ll update this post when news are announced.

Also available is Christa Lee’s “Welcome To The Fantasy Zone” album, which isn’t actual video game music, but rather a love letter to Sega game music, so it might be interesting to some of you Sega fans.
