Brave Wave’s arrangement album GIANTS getting a vinyl release via Black Screen Records

Long in the making, Brave Wave’s arrangement album GIANTS is finally available to preorder. Black Screen Records are handling the vinyl release.
The album will feature new takes on music from Celeste, Gimmick!, Mega Man, Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, Ninja Gaiden II, Ninja Gaiden III, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Pulstar and Shovel Knight – alongside several new original tracks from a wide range of acclaimed game music composers.

The release will be a 3LP set on 180g “curacao” light blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a box set with new art by Matt Cummings and Caspian Whistler. It will also include a 20-page booklet.
A deluxe version of the box set is also available, which will also include a tape with demo track and early recordings, a print signed by the participating composers, and the boxes will be individually numbered.

It is priced at €69 for the standard set and €99 for the deluxe version. It can be preordered via Black Screen Records here and via Brave Wave’s Bandcamp here (also fulfilled via Black Screen Records, though). It is scheduled to release in April, 2024.

New Mega Man remix album now up for vinyl order via Firaga Records

Firaga Records have launched orders for the Mega Man remix album Mega Remix Man (2).EXE on vinyl. It features new takes on music from Mega Man 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, Mega Man X, and Mega Man & Bass.

The release will be a single 180g LP on clear vinyl. It will be housed in gatefold jacket housed in a printed PVC sleeve all with new artwork by Leon Tukker and design by Isa Alcántara.

It is priced at $28 and is in-hand and scheduled to ship out this month. It can be ordered from Firaga Records’ Bandcamp here as well as from the Materia Store here.

Ship To Shore ready with vinyl preorders for Mega Man Battle Network 3

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are now ready with preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to Mega Man Battle Network 3.

The release will be a single LP available in four color variants – a limited edition “BubbleMan.EXE” blue with white splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive), a blue and white split variant, a blue translucent with blue splatter variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a blue translucent variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. The jacket will come with one of two different pieces of cover art based on either the “White” or “Blue” versions of the game. The cover art is randomly chosen for each order.

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. have opened preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to Mega Man Battle Network 2.

The release will be a single LP available in four color variants – a limited edition “Bug Frag” blue with green splatter variant, a “Snakeman.exe” green and blue swirl variant, a green and clear swirl variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a blue variant (retail version).
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

The release will be a single LP available in four vinyl color variants – a limited edition “NetNavi” green-in-blue with black splatter variant, a “Battle Chip” blue with white splatter variant, a “cloudy” red translucent with red splatter variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a blue variant.
It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

Mega Man 2 & 3 + Mega Man X get standalone vinyl releases from Laced

Laced Records have just announced that they are releasing the soundtracks to Mega Man 2&3 together as well as Mega Man X. Complete soundtracks for both have previously been part of their Mega Man and Mega Man X box sets.

Mega Man 2&3 will be a 180g 2LP in two color variants – a limited edition “Mega Buster” blue swirl variant, and a standard black variant. It will be housed in a wide single-pocket jacket with artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

Mega Man X will be a 180g LP in two color variants – a limited edition “X-Blaster” blue swirl, and a standard black variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

Mega Man 2&3 is priced at £33/$35 and Mega Man X is priced at £24/$28. Both releases are scheduled to release in August, 2022 and can be preordered via Laced Records here.

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing the soundtrack to the Mega Man spin-off sequel Mega Man Legends 2 on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP available in two different color variants – a limited edition blue with white splatter variant, and a clear vinyl variant. It will be housed in a jacket featuring new artwork by Mushbuh and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

Materia Collective have just launched vinyl preorders for the Mega Man remix album “Mega Remix Man.EXE”. It will feature remixes of tracks from Mega Man 1-3, 5-7, and X.

The release is a single 180g LP on clear vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket in a plastic jacket with artwork by Lucas Sienkiewicz and design and layout by Rozen and Isa Alcántara.

Preorders for Mega Man Legends vinyl soundtrack up from Ship To Shore

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing the soundtrack to the action-adventure Mega Man spin-off series Mega Man Legends (also known as Rock Man Dash) on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP in three color variants – a limited edition blue with white splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive), a “Mega Man Helment” blue and white variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a clear vinyl retail variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by mushbuh and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

Laced Records to release Mega Man X1-8 box set

They dropped a teaser yesterday and now Laced have announced the vinyl release of an album featuring a selection of 210 tracks from the mainline Mega Man X series soundtracks.

The release will be a box set with 8 180g LPs on yellow and purple translucent colored vinyl. The box set and sleeves will feature new artwork by Ultimatemaverickx (who also did the artwork for the Mega Man collection).

The release is priced at £115/$145 and is scheduled to release in September, 2020. It can be preordered from Laced Records here.
