Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing the soundtrack to the action-adventure Mega Man spin-off series Mega Man Legends (also known as Rock Man Dash) on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP in three color variants – a limited edition blue with white splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive), a “Mega Man Helment” blue and white variant (Black Screen Records exclusive), and a clear vinyl retail variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by mushbuh and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.
They dropped a teaser yesterday and now Laced have announced the vinyl release of an album featuring a selection of 210 tracks from the mainline Mega Man X series soundtracks.
The release will be a box set with 8 180g LPs on yellow and purple translucent colored vinyl. The box set and sleeves will feature new artwork by Ultimatemaverickx (who also did the artwork for the Mega Man collection).
Capcom have announced a vinyl release titled “Rockman 1-3 Sound Collection”. Rockman is the Japanese name for Mega Man, and the release will feature music from the first three entires in the series.
The release will be a single LP on black vinyl and appears to be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.
It is priced at ￥4,167 and will be sold at Capcom’s booth at Tokyo Game Show 2018 from September 20-23, 2018. It has also been available from several Japanese retailers online with a release date of October 24, 2018, but appears to have sold out most places now.
It was originally announced via an Indiegogo campaign from late last year, but now it’s gotten a proper announcement from Enjoy The Toons Records and a release date.
The 8-Bit Time Paradox is an arrangement album managed in large part by Giovanni Rotondo. It contains arrangements of music from Metroid, Breath Of The Wild, Final Fantasy VII, Ocarina Of Time, Mega Man, Titanfall 2, Shovel Knight, and Battlefield 1. The tracks are performed by several artists known for their video game music arrangements on Youtube and elsewhere on the internet.
The release will be a single LP housed in a GameBoy game-inspired single pocket jacket with art by Jeff Langevin. It will be available in three color variants – “cartridge” grey, “boss battle” purple-in-clear with white splatter, and “time paradox” purple smoke. The two former are limited to 200 copies each and the latter 100 copies.
The release is priced at $21 through Enjoy The Toons Records, and £23 through Giovanni Rotondo’s Bandcamp.
