Mega Man 2 & 3 + Mega Man X get standalone vinyl releases from Laced

Laced Records have just announced that they are releasing the soundtracks to Mega Man 2&3 together as well as Mega Man X. Complete soundtracks for both have previously been part of their Mega Man and Mega Man X box sets.

Mega Man 2&3 will be a 180g 2LP in two color variants – a limited edition “Mega Buster” blue swirl variant, and a standard black variant. It will be housed in a wide single-pocket jacket with artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

Mega Man X will be a 180g LP in two color variants – a limited edition “X-Blaster” blue swirl, and a standard black variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

Mega Man 2&3 is priced at £33/$35 and Mega Man X is priced at £24/$28. Both releases are scheduled to release in August, 2022 and can be preordered via Laced Records here.

Laced Records ready with preorders for a Mega Man 6LP box set

Laced Records have just announced that they will be releasing a box set with music from all 11 Mega Man games.

The set includes the full soundtracks to Mega Man 1-3 and a selection of tracks from all the rest of the games in the main series.

The release will be a 180g 6LP box set with records on blue and light blue colored vinyl. They will be housed in spined record jackets within a slipcase box with new artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

It is priced at £90 / $110 and is scheduled to release in December, 2019. It can be preordered from Laced Records’ UK store here and their US store here.

Bit Brigade’s Mega Man II cover album to be released on vinyl

It was teased in some forum posts last week and today it was confirmed with a listing on Hello Sir Records’ web store – Bit Brigade’s “Mega Man II” album will be given a vinyl release.

The album comes as a single LP on blue opaque vinyl. It features Bit Brigade’s rock covers of Takashi Tateishi’s classic soundtrack for Mega Man II as well as a few tracks from Mega Man 3, 4, and 9.

To make news even better this is not a preorder, but a release that is ready to ship! It’s priced at 20$ and can be ordered via Hello Sir Records here.
