Laced Records are continuing their quest to release music from the Resident Evil series on vinyl – this time it’s for the original 1996 PS1 soundtrack to the first game in the series. Furthermore, they’re also including the 1996 remix/arrangement album “Resident Evil Sound Track Remix” that blends the soundtrack with sound effects and dialogue from the game.
It will be released in two 3LP versions – a limited and a standard.
The limited edition will come on “brain matter” red and grey swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a lift-off lift box set with spot gloss finishing. It will also include an art print and a felt slipmat.
The standard edition will come on black vinyl. It will be housed in a wide-spined single-pocket jacket with spined printed inner sleeves.
The limited edition is priced at £60 and the standard at £45. Both are scheduled to release in April, 2023. The limited edition can be preordered from Laced here and the standard edition here.
