Risk Of Rain 2 vinyl preorders now live via Black Screen Records

It was announced a long time ago that Black Screen Records would release the soundtrack to Risk Of Rain 2, but we had to wait for the game and the full soundtrack to be finished first. Those are finished now and so they are ready with vinyl preorders as well.

The release will be a 3LP on 180g vinyl in two color variants – a limited edition with a disc on black and purple inkspot, black and pink inkspot, and black and orange inkspot colored vinyl, as well as a standard black vinyl edition.
It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by illustrator Daniele Giardini. It will also include a digital download code for the soundtracks to both Risk of Rain and Risk of Rain 2.

The limited release is priced at €52 and the standard at €48. Both are scheduled to release in late October, 2020. They can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

Othercide vinyl soundtrack can now be preordered from Black Screen Records

Black Screen Records have just announced that they are releasing the metal-inspired soundtrack to the turn-based strategy game Othercide.

The release will be a single LP on 180g red translucent with black swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art and will include a download code for a digital copy of the album.

The album is priced at €30 and is scheduled to release in September, 2020. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

The Ghosts Of Tsushima vinyl soundtrack is now up for preorder via Milan

Milan Records have just opened up preorders for the vinyl release of the soundtrack to the action adventure game Ghosts Of Tsushima.

The release will be a black vinyl 3LP. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by manga artist Takashi Okazaki. Milan have also confirmed that Mondo will have an exclusive color variant available later, but there’s currently no further details on that.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Fall, 2020. It can be preordered from Milan Records here.

EverQuest vinyl soundtracks now up for order

Darkpaw Games have just opened up preorders for the soundtrack to the classic MMO EverQuest on vinyl for the game’s 20th anniversary.

The release will be a single 180g LP on various vinyl colors. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art on front and in the gatefold and a map of the game world on the back.

There are four variants:

  • The standard variant is on blue and gold split with red splatter and limited to 250 copies. It is priced at $30.
  • The “Mez Spell” edition is on blue and gold pinwheel and limited to 150 copies, It is priced at $35.
  • The “Field of Bone” edition is on bone white-in-red and is limited to 100 copies. It is priced at $50.
  • The “Nagafen” edition is on red and white swirl and is limited to 100 hand-numbered copies and has exclusive artwork, although is not gatefold like the others. It is priced at $100, but is sold out as of writing this.

Sparkster preorders now live from Ship To Shore

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. confirmed that they were working on it a while ago now, but today they have finally opened up orders for the vinyl soundtrack to the side-scrolling platformer Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 for the Sega Genesis.

The release is a single LP on “Rocket Flash” yellow vinyl with red splatter colored vinyl. It comes in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Rob Charleston and will include a 24″x24″ poster.

It is priced at $25 and is scheduled to ship in August, 2020. It can be preordered from Ship To Shore PhonoCo.’s store here.

iam8bit to release music from Untitled Goose Game and Bugsnax on vinyl

Today iam8bit announced that they are releasing both the soundtrack to the honk ’em up Untitled Goose Game as well as the trailer theme song for upcoming title Bugsnax on vinyl.

Untitled Goose Game will be a single LP on random colored vinyl from reused vinyl pellets. In addition it will be a double groove record meaning the album can start in one of two grooves on the same side of the record.
The album will be housed in an eco-friendly jacket made of recycled materials.

Bugsnax will be a single-sided 7″ on red translucent vinyl with strawberry screen print on the b-side. It will be housed in a regular 7″ jacket with artwork by Young Horses and Kero Kero Bonito.

Untitled Goose Game is priced at $30 and Bugsnax at $12. Both are scheduled to release in Q4 2020.

Vexx 2LP preorders now up via Respawned

Respawned Records have opened up preorders for the soundtrack to the 3D action platformer Vexx on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on “Eye of Yabu” yellow and black swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork Preston Gomez. The release is limited to 500 copies.

The album is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in late September, 2020. It can be preordered from Respawned Records here.

Orchestral game music LP from London Music Works up for backing

The crowdfunding service Digger’s Factory have partnered up with UK soundtrack label Silva Screen for a vinyl release of the 2011 recording “The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1”.

It is an orchestral recording of music from various games performed by film music orchesta London Music Works. It features music from the games Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Gears Of War 3, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Assassin’s Creed II, World Of Warcraft: Wrath Of The Lich King, Halo 3, Final Fantasy VII, Battlefield 1942, The Curse Of Monkey Island, Turrican II: The Final Fight, The Legend Of Zelda, and Super Mario Bros.

The release will be a single 140g black vinyl LP. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket.

The campaign will need 100 preorders in order for the company to launch a pressing of 1000 copies. It is priced at €20 and if the campaign is successful it is scheduled to release in November, 2020. It can be backed via Digger’s Factory here.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint double LP to be released by Laced Records

Laced Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the tactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on 180g silver colored vinyl. It will be housed in printed inner sleeves in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Yann Orhan.

The album is priced at £33 and it is scheduled to release in late September, 2020. It can be preordered from Laced Records here.
