The soundtrack to the Norse mythology-based real-time strategy game Northgard can now be backed on vinyl via Digger’s Factory.
If successful the release will be a single black vinyl LP, which will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.
The goal is to reach 150 preorders in order to launch a pressing of 300 copies. It is priced at €23 and is scheduled to ship out in December, 2020 if successful.

Limited Run Games have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to action game Neon City Riders.
The release will be a 2LP with one record on clear with black splatter and the other on purple with black splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art and is limited to 400 copies.
It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release 2-4 months from today. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.
iam8bit have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to the original 1991 NES release of Battletoads alongside the brand-new 2020 reboot of the series. They originally released the NES soundtrack back in 2015.
The release will be a 2LP on “Pimple” pink. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with 3D pop-up fist artwork by Alex Pardee.
500 randomly chosen preorders from iamb8it will also get a “Rash’s Toadally Rad Adventure” cassette tape.

Mondo have announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to the action platform game Trover Saves he Universe on vinyl.
The release will be a single LP available in two 180g color variants – standard black vinyl and neon purple colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Alex Pardee.
It is priced at $25 and is scheduled to release in September, 2020. It can be preordered from Mondo here.
Supergiant Games have just announced a new orchestral recording of the vocals tracks from their games Bastion, Transistor, Pyre, and Hades. The album is titled “The Songs Of Supergiant Games: The 10th Anniversary Orchestral Collection”.
The album will be available in two variants. A standard edition single LP on red translucent vinyl, and a limited edition 2LP on 180g black vinyl cut at 45RPM. The limited edition will be limited to 1000 copies numbered and signed by composer Darren Korb.
Both will be housed in gatefold jackets with slightly different artwork on the front jacket between both versions. They will also include a 24-page booklet and a digital download code.
The standard edition is priced at $40 and the limited edition at $80. Both are scheduled to release Autumn 2020.

Mondo have dropped a surprise announcement with preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the upcoming superhero action adventure Marvel’s Avengers.
The release will be a single 180g LP available in two color variants – standard black vinyl, and a yellow, red and blue tricolor colored vinyl variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Phantom City Creative.

Today Laced Records announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the latest game in the long-standing strategy game series Total War – Total War: Three Kingdoms – on vinyl.
The release will be a 3LP on 180g red translucent vinyl. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket featuring artwork by Lulu Zhang and Matt Wright.

Fangamer have been quiet with new releases recently, but that just changed as they’ve announced not one, not two, but three new soundtrack releases. First is the NES and Mega Drive/Genesis soundtracks to platformer Snake Rattle ‘N’ Roll, then the soundtrack to action-adventure Concrete Genie, and finally the VR platformer Astro Bot: Rescue Mission.
Snake Rattle ‘N’ Roll will be a single LP on clear with red and blue splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Aimee Cairns. It will also include new liner notes by composer David Wise.
Concrete Genie will be a single LP on clear with pink, green, purple and blue splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new art by Jeff Sangalli and Taylor Lambert and layout by Brian Carmody.
Astro Bot: Rescue Mission will be a single LP on white vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Chris Clancy and layout by Brian Carmody.
All three are priced at $25. Snake Rattle ‘N’ Roll is a preorder scheduled for late August, while the others are in stock and ready to ship.

You read that right. Free. In celebration of Black Screen Record’s fifth anniversary they are releasing a compilation LP with 14 tracks from as many different new indie games for free.
The release will feature music from the following games: Lunark, Demon Turf, Melon Journey 2, Eastward, Paradise Killer, Temtem, Cris Tales, Cassette Beasts, Bushiden, Orange Island, The Wild At Heart, Backbone, Anew: The Distant Light, and No Place For Bravery.
The album is a single LP on black vinyl and will be housed in a regular LP jacket with original artwork by Drew Wise. It will also come with stickers and a 12-page flyer.

The Space Quest Historian is back with yet another reorchestrated Space Quest album. This time it’s Space Quest V: The Next Mutation, which is now available to back on vinyl on Qrates.
If the campaign is successful the release will be a 2LP with one record on orange with green splatter and the other on green with orange splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art upscaled by Brandon Blume.
To succeed the campaign will need at least 200 backers before September 1, 2020. The album is priced at €31.20 and if the campaign is succesful it is scheduled to ship out 2-3 months after the campaign ends.
