Kowloon’s Gate soundtrack to get a vinyl release

GT Music have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the Japan-only Playstation adventure game Kowloon’s Gate on vinyl.

The release appears to be a single LP on translucent red vinyl. There’s been no details on the packaging or even a mockup, so the look of the release is unknown as of writing this.

It will cost ¥3700 (+ tax if you’re in Japan) and is scheduled to release on December 25, 2019. It can be preordered from Sony here, but it is also available from CDJapan here and Amazon Japan here.

Incredibox LP to be released for the game’s 10th anniversary

So Far So Good have announced a vinyl release of the music to their game and music tool Incredibox to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release.

The release will be a single LP on white vinyl and will be housed in a regular LP jacket with exclusive game art that differs from the CD and digital releases. It will be limited to just 90 copies and will also come with stickers, a key ring, badges and a post card.

It is priced at €22 and is scheduled to begin shipping around December 11, 2019. It can be preordered from Bandcamp here.

Music from the arcade game Black Emperor has been released on a 7″

Games developer BumbleBear have released the soundtrack to their own endless motorcycling arcade game Black Emperor on vinyl.

The release is a black vinyl 7″. It comes in a regular 7″ jacket with artwork by Amanda Lax. It is limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.

It is priced at $12 and has been shipping out since March, 2019. It can be ordered from BumbleBear’s merch store here.

The Stellaris soundtrack is getting a vinyl release

Paradox Interactive have announced that they will be releasing music from the soundtrack to their 4X space strategy game Stellaris on vinyl.

The soundtrack will feature a selection of tracks from the soundtrack as well as bonus tracks and alternate versions not used in the game itself.

The release will be a 2LP on what appears to be smoky clear vinyl. It will come in a jacket with game art.

The price is €40 and the album is scheduled to release in the first half of 2020. It is available to preorder now from Paradox Interactive here.

iam8bit is releasing a League Of Legends vinyl soundtrack

iam8bit have announced that thay are partnering up with Riot Games to release “League Of Legends: Selected Orchestral Works” on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP with one record on “order” blue smoke and the other on “Chaos” red smoke vinyl. It comes in a gatefold jacket with new art by Riot Games’ art team.

It is priced at $40 and is in-stock and ready to ship. It can be ordered from iam8bit here.
European customers will also be able to purchase these from Black Screen Records later this month.

Laced Records ready with preorders for a Mega Man 6LP box set

Laced Records have just announced that they will be releasing a box set with music from all 11 Mega Man games.

The set includes the full soundtracks to Mega Man 1-3 and a selection of tracks from all the rest of the games in the main series.

The release will be a 180g 6LP box set with records on blue and light blue colored vinyl. They will be housed in spined record jackets within a slipcase box with new artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

It is priced at £90 / $110 and is scheduled to release in December, 2019. It can be preordered from Laced Records’ UK store here and their US store here.

Jay And Silent Bob: Mall Brawl LP coming from Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games will be releasing the soundtrack to the upcoming NES game Jay And Silent Bob: Mall Brawl on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on purple vinyl and will be housed in a regular jacket with game art. This will be limited to 300 copies.

It is priced at $28 and there is no clear release date announced yet. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2LP available to preorder now

Milan Records have announced their first video game soundtrack release on vinyl – the soundtrack to the 2004 cult action RPG Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines.

The release will be a 2LP on red translucent vinyl with black smoke. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will include a download card.

The titles is priced at $31 and is set to release on October 25, 2019. It can be preordered from Milan’s Artist Arena store here.

Live versions of Percival music from The Witcher 3 to be released on vinyl

The band Percival have opened up preorders for a vinyl release of a selection of their music recorded live at the Wild Hunt Live 2018 concert.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl and will come in a regular LP jacket.

It is priced at 100 złoty, although it’s on sale for 70 złoty right now. It is not completely clear when they will ship, although they should be ready for some of the Wild Hunt Live 2019 concerts.

Limited Run Games now taking preorders for their System Shock vinyl release

Limited Run Games have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the 1994 first-person action game System Shock.

The release will be a 2LP on neon green colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. The green variant is limited to 500 copies. No exclusivity is mentioned, so it’s possible other variants may appear later.

It is priced at $35 and there’s currently no clear release estimate. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.
