The official Toejam & Earl store – The Funkotron Shop – have listed a 2LP set for the Toejam & Earl: Back In The Groove soundtrack for preorder.
The set includes the soundtrack on 2LP “Toejam” red and “Earl” orange colored vinyl. It’s housed in a jacket with artwork by Nathan Shorts. The set also includes an art book, the soundtrack on CD and a download code for a lossless digital copy of the soundtrack.
The set is priced at $45 and is scheduled to release in Q3, 2017. Preorders are open now via The Funkotron Shop.
iam8bit have just launched a listing for a double release featuring Douglas Holmquist’s soundtracks for the mobile games Smash Hit and PinOut.
The release will be a 2LP on clear vinyl. It comes in a gatefold jacket with new art by Mediocre Games co-founder Henrik Johansson.
Some might recall that Holmquist’s PinOut soundtrack was released as a standalone soundtrack late last year. The tracklist for this new release isn’t up yet so it’s still not clear if it will identical to the older release. This new release will feature an exclusive Chipzel remix, but it’s not been disclosed what game track was remixed.
The release will be priced at $40 and is expected to release Q1 2018. Preorders will open August 3, 2017 at 10AM PT.

It was recently teased as a preorder on a series of online stores, but now we have an official announcement. Black Screen Records will be releasing Jean-François Freitas’ soundtrack to the classic adventure game Another World (known as Out Of This World in the US).
The game, which was originally developed for the Amiga in 1991, recently celebrated it’s 25th anniversary and have been launched on modern consoles. The release features the music from the 20th anniversary release of the game + bonus tracks from the Amiga and 2004 PC versions.
The vinyl release will be single LP in regular record jacket. It features artwork and layout by Dane Baudoin based on original artwork by the game’s creator Éric Chahi.
There will be no less than 4 different variants available. An orange version sold via Black Screen Records, a black version sold via various retail outlets, a blue version sold on the game’s official store, and finally a special US version which is yet to be revealed.
The record is priced at €26 and is set to release on August 18, 2017. It can be preordered now via Black Screen Records’ store.
This title will also be the final title to be inluded in Black Screen Mystery Bundle #002, so people who ordered that will already be secured a copy of this record.
They teased it a while back in their newsletter, but now the preorder is ready. Bit Brigade is releasing their cover album of Koji Kondo’s “The Legend of Zelda” soundtrack.
The release will be a single LP in a standard record jacket and it will be on gold-colored vinyl.
The record is priced at $20 and they’re expected to begin shipping in mid-to-late August 2017. Preorders are open now via Hello Sir Records.
Black Screen Records have announced that they will be releasing Michael Kelly aka. Garoad’s soundtrack to the visual novel bartending game VA-11 HALL-A on vinyl. The composer himself have previously hinted that a vinyl release might be coming.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g blue and pink vinyl. It comes in a gatefold jacket and includes a 12″ booklet, a double-sided A2 poster, and a download code for all 3 installments of the digital soundtrack.
Artwork on the release was done by Christopher Ortiz, Koyorin, Grey Monarch, Tofu+Beast, and Daniel Leander Goffin.
The release is priced at €32 and can be preordered from Black Screen Records’ store now. It is scheduled to release on September 15, 2017.
Black Screen Records have announced that they will be releasing Christian Barth’s soundtrack to the point-and-click adventure game The Inner World and its upcoming sequel The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g colored vinyl in two variants – classic black and limited edition violet and green colored vinyl. It will come in a gatefold jacket with art by developer Studio Fizbin.
The release is €25 for the black and €28 for the limited edition and is scheduled to release on September 1, 2017. It can be preordered via Black Screen Records’ online store now.
It also comes with a bundle option where you can order this title togetther with Black Screen Records’ Slime-san release at €50.
Mondo have previously announced that they would release Konami Kukeiha Club’s Contra soundtrack as part of their Konami partnership. And today we finally got some more details.
The release will be a single 180g 45RPM LP on red and blue split colored vinyl. The release comes in a gatefold jacket and features new artwork by Eric Powell.
The release contains both the NES/Famicom and Arcade versions of the soundtrack.
For those lucky enough to attend this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (July 20-23, 2017), Mondo will have an exclusive “Contra C” variant on yellow, orange, and red triple striped vinyl. This variant is limited to 1000 copies.
Both variants will be priced at $25 and are available on July 19, 2017 at 8PM CST.
The regular split variant will be available through Mondo’s website (keep an eye on social media for the release page when it goes up), and the SDCC variant will be available at SDCC Preview Night at Mondo’s booth (#835).
A while back a seres of listings for a vinyl release for Valve Studio Orchestra’s DOTA 2 soundtrack appeared on various regional Amazon stores. And now the official preorders are open as well. It is released by US label Ipecac Recordings and it is their second vinyl release for a Valve game soundtrack.
The soundtrack, which is composed by Jason Hayes, will be released as a single LP on red vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art and comes with a download code for the soundtrack.
The LP is set to release on July 28, 2017 and can be preordered from Ipecac’s Bandcamp ($23), US distributor Revolver Merch ($22), and EU distributor Townsend Music (€20). It is also still available via different regional Amazon stores.
It was announced a while back, but today Data Discs revealed that they will start taking orders for their vinyl release of Tohru “Master” Nakabayashi’s Altered Beast soundtrack.
The release will be a single LP cut at 45 RPM. As always it will be available in 3 different color variants – classic black, orange opaque, and a limited edition clear with orange splatter. The cover features original art sourced from the SEGA archives and the release also comes with a foldout poster of the box art from the game.
The release is priced at £20 and is scheduled to begin shipping out in the first week of July. Orders are set to open on June 30, 2017 via Data Discs’ webstore here.
