A new Dark Souls trilogy set is now up for preorder via Fanthful Records

Fanthful Records have just launched preorders for a selection of music from the main three Dark Souls games on vinyl.

The release will be a 3LP with on gold, red and dark blue colored vinyl (one for each game). They will be housed in printed jackets within a box set.

It is priced at $498 HKD and is an open preorder that closes on June 21, 2023. It is scheduled to release in October, 2023. It can be preordered via Fanthful Records here, however please note that they currently only offer shipping to Hong Kong, so a proxy service is needed if you need it shipped elsewhere.

UPDATE: Previously the post said the preorder deadline was one July 21. This was a mistake on my part and has now been changed to June 21.

NieR:Automata arrangement album “Rebirth + Despair” is now up for vinyl preorder via Mango Mage

Mango Mage Records are releasing TPR and Roxane Genot’s NieR: Automata piano and cello arrangement album “Rebirth + Despair” on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP cut at 45RPM available in three color variants – a “Dreams” blue swirl colored variant (250 copies), a “Memories” green swirl colored variant (250 copies), and a “Wishes” custom blue and gold swirl variant (30 numbered copies).
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Silvermilk.

The Fantastic Adventures Of Dizzy vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder

8bit Is Enough are releasing the soundtrack to 1991 NES game The Fantastic Adventures Of Dizzy (also known as just Fantastic Dizzy) on vinyl.

The release will be a single picture disc LP. It will be housed in a clear plastic sleeve and will be a limited pressing of 250 copies.

Earthbound Papas’ Dancing Dad arrangement album up for vinyl preorder

Le Fée Sauvage is releasing Earthbound Papas’ 2013 album Dancing Dad on vinyl. The band features famous composer Nobuo Uematsu and this album includes arrangements of several of his compositions alongside original tracks.

The release is a 2LP on black with white splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with the artwork from the original CD release. It includes a booklet with photography as well as a copy of the album on CD.

Bit Brigade’s NES Batman cover album now up for vinyl order

Hello Sir Records are now taking orders for Bit Brigade’s rock arrangement album of music from NES games Batman: The Video Game and Batman: Return Of The Joker.

The release is a single LP available in two color variants – a hand-poured green and purple swirl colored vinyl variant, and a black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with the album title.

Two Victoria 3 soundtrack releases are now up for vinyl preorder from Paradox

Paradox Interactive have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the grand strategy video game Victoria 3 alongside a separate release titled “Melodies For The Masses” with music from the game’s DLC.

The base soundtrack will be a 2LP on purple colored vinyl, while “Melodies For The Masses” will be a 2LP on light yellow colored vinyl. They will both be housed in their own jacket with game art.

They are priced at €40 each and are available to preorder until September, 2023 and are expected to ship in late 2023/early 2024. They can be preordered from Paradox here.

Curaga Records have opened up vinyl preorders for the lofi arrangement album “Video Game LoFi: Skyrim”.

Firaga Records have just opened up vinyl preorders for the Sonic the Hedgehog series arrangement album “Needlemouse Mania” by RoBKTA. It features arranged music from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Mania, and Sonic Colors.

Laced Records ready with preorders for Devil May Cry vinyl soundtrack

Laced Records have just launched preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the first game in Capcom’s Devil May Cry series. It will be released both as a 4LP compelte set and as a 2LP selection.

The 4LP set will be available in two variants – a limited edition red, orange, pink, and purple swirl variant, and a standard black variant.
It will be housed in a slipcase with printed inners featuring new sleeve art by StelarPidgin.

The 2LP set will be available on red and dark yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a wide-spined single-pocket jacket with new art by StelarPidgin.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder from iam8bit

iam8bit are now taking preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the newly released The Super Mario Bros. movie. And yes, I know what you’re thinking. “This is not a video game”! And you’re right. But it does feature arrangements from several games in the Super Mario series, so close enough.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a “Mario & Luigi” red and green colored vinyl variant, and a “Princess Peach” pink and yellow colored vinyl variant (iam8bit exclusive).
