iam8bit have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the first-person puzzle game Manifold Garden on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by TheFourthFocus and pop-up art by Proposition Press. It will be limited to 1000 copies.
It is priced at $45 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2022. It can be preordered from iam8bit here.

KupoCon are releasing the Final Fantasy VII arrangement album “Melodies Of Midgar” by Pontus Hultgren on vinyl.
The release will be a single 180g LP on “Mako” green translucent vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork. It is limited to 200 copies (100 of which were already sold during an online event in April).
It is priced at $69 and is scheduled to begin shipping around June 30, 2021. It can be preordered from KupoCon’s shop here.
Bandai Namco Entertainment have just announced that they will be releasing music from the games Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II on vinyl under the title “The Music Box Collection”.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will include a download card for a digital copy of the music.
It is priced at €35 and is scheduled to release in July, 2021. It can be preordered from the Bandai Namco EU store here and from the US store here.
Minority Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to puzzle adventure game Papetura on vinyl.
The release will be a single 180g LP on pink marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket and will include three 12″x12″ art inserts with game art by Tomasz Ostafin.
It is priced at €18 and is scheduled to release later this year. It can be preordered from Minority Records here.
Musician Michael Zucker is releasing his Super Mario Bros. 3 cover album via a one day-only preorder for Bandcamp Friday. The album also features a cover of the original The Legend Of Zelda soundtrack.
The release will be a 175g 45RPM LP on yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular jacket.
It is priced at $30 and is scheduled to release in October, 2021. It can be preorder via Zucker’s Bandcamp here.
For Enter The Gungeon’s fifth anniversary Laced Records have announced a vinyl release of its soundtrack which also features music from Exit The Gungeon.
The release will be a 180g 3LP with one record on green-in-clear, one on purple-in-clear and one on orange-in-clear colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with pop-up artwork by Joseph Harmon.
It is priced at £45/$50 and is scheduled to release in November, 2021. It can be preordered exclusively via Devolver Digital’s merch store here.
NIS America dropped a surprise earlier today with the announcement of a vinyl box set featuring music from the long-running shoot ’em up franchise R-Type.
The release will be a black vinyl 5LP. It will be housed in individual jackets in a slipcase box set and will also include a booklet with the tracklist as well as a download card for 370 (!) tracks from 25 games in the series.
It is priced at $125 and is scheduled to release around June 29, 2021. It can be preordered from NIS America’s store here.

UPDATE May 5, 2021: I have received e-mail confirmation from NISA Europe that it is estimated to go up for preorder from their store “within a couple of weeks”.
Respawned Records have opened up orders for a vinyl release of the soundtrack to the shoot ’em up game Super XYX. If this sounds familiar it’s because the composer had previously run an unsuccessful Qrates campaign for the vinyl release. However, it is fortunately getting released now after all!
The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a “Something Ghostly” green translucent and yellow splatter variant, and a “Galactic Attack” clear smoke with green, blue and red splatter variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art and each variant are limited to 150 copies each.
It is priced at $25 and is in hand and expected to begin shipping soon. It can be ordered from Respawned Records here.

Enjoy The Ride Records are releasing the soundtrack to battle royale game Apex Legends on vinyl.
The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a red and black swirl colored variant, and a clear with black splatter colored variant. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with game art and they are limited to 500 copies of each variant.
It is priced at $25 and is in hand and ready to ship. As of this post both variants have sold out, but it is possible to sign up on their store page here for notifications on when it will be available again.
Enjoy The Ride have stated that there may be a repress if there’s demand (and they sold out in about 20 minutes, so it seems fair to say that there is).
Laced Records have launched preorders for a vinyl release of the soundtrack to action-adventure game Yakuza 0.
The release will be available as a 6LP set and a 2LP selection set.
The 6LP set will be available as a 180g limited edition color-in-color vinyl set as well as a 180g black vinyl set. It will be housed in a slipcase box set with each disc in its own spined sleeve featuring game art.
The 2LP set will be on 180g light blue and green colored vinyl. It will be housed in a wide-spined single-pocket jacket with printed inner sleeves featuring game art.
The 6LP set is priced at £100/$120 and the 2LP set is priced at £33/$35. Both are set to release in October, 2021 and can be preordered via Laced Records here.
