Klonoa 2 vinyl soundtrack preorders up via Ship To Shore now

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. confirmed that they would be releasing the second game in the Klonoa series – Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil – a while back, and now they are ready with preorders.

The release will be a 2LP available in three variants – a “Huepow” blue-in-clear colored vinyl variant (exclusive to Ship To Shore), a white, blue and black tricolor variant (exclusive to Black Screen Records), and a clear vinyl retail variant.
It will be housed in a wide-spined jacket featuring new artwork by Drew Wise and includes an insert with artwork and liner notes by Anthony John Agnello.

It will be priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in October, 2021. It can be preordered from Ship To Shore here.

New label Very Ok Vinyl to release the Necrosphere vinyl soundtrack

New game soundtrack vinyl label Very Ok Vinyl recently announced that their first title will be the soundtrack to the two-button metroidvania game Necrosphere.

The release will be a single 45RPM LP on pink with white splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with spot varnished and embossed game art. It will be limited to 300 copies.

It is priced at $32 CAD and is scheduled to release in early May, 2021. It can be preordered from Very Ok Vinyl here.

Wayô Records are releasing the Mr. Nutz soundtrack on vinyl

Wayô Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the side-scrolling platformer Mr. Nutz for the SNES on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on orange translucent colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Philippe Dessoly. It will also include an 8-page booklet with liner notes from people who worked on the game and soundtrack.
The first 250 preorders will also include a shikishi art print signed by artist Philippe Dessoly.

It is priced at €42 and is scheduled to release in late June, 2021. It can be preordered from Wayô Records here.

Frostpunk complete soundtrack getting vinyl release from Gamemusic Records

Back in 2018 Gamemusic Records released the Frostpunk soundtrack on vinyl. They are now re-releasing the same soundtrack, but in a complete package that also includes the music for the game’s DLCs “The Last Autumn” and “On The Edge”.

The release will be a 2LP on 180g “crackling ice and glacial freeze” blue marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Damian Bajowski. The release is limited to 700 copies.

It is priced at €39 and is scheduled to release in July, 2021. It can be preordered from Gamemusic Records here.

Fangamer are now taking orders for the Myst vinyl soundtrack

A Myst vinyl soundtrack was first announced by composer Robyn Miller all the way back in 2018, but yesterday Miller finally confirmed that Fangamer would be releasing it – and orders are now live.

The release is a 2LP with one record on “red page” and the other on “blue page” marbled colored vinyl. They will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Robyn Miller. The gatefold will be housed within an embossed slipcase.

It is priced at $45 and is in stock and ready to ship. It can be ordered from Fangamer here.

Three Arknights Contingency Contract 12″s up for preorder

Monster Siren Records are releasing three 12″ records for the mobile game Arknights’ Contingency Contract events. The records are for the events Operation Pyrite, Operation Blade and Operation Cinder.

Due to sparse release info it’s unclear exactly which tracks are included on these. Presumably they are similar to last year’s Arknight 12″, where it’s a single track on a single-sided record, but this has not been confirmed.

All three titles appear to be on clear vinyl and housed in single-pocket jackets featuring game art for their respective events. They will also include a sticker set each.

They are priced at 159 RMB each and are scheduled to release in late May, 2021. They can be preordered from TMall here, but please note that they only ship domestically in China.

Majora’s Mask lo-fi arrangement up for vinyl preorder via Respawned

Respawned Records have opened up vinyl preorders for a lo-fi hiphop arrangement album of music from The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask titled Terrible Fate.

The release is a single LP available in two variants – “Third Day” black with silver splatter colored vinyl, and “Majora’s Blaze” clear with black, magenta, and pink swirl colored vinyl.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Michael Lee. It will also include an insert with additional art.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in August, 2021. It can be preordered from Respawned Records here.

Limited Run Games to release Lethal League + Blaze vinyl soundtracks

Limited Run Games are releasing the soundtrack to the dodgeball-turned-fighting games Lethal League and Lethal League Blaze on vinyl.

Lethal League will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket featuring identical artwork to the 2018 CD release of the soundtrack.

Blaze will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be released in a jacket featuring new artwork by Komap.

Lethal League is priced at $28 and Blaze at $35. Both are up for open preorder, which will close again on May 16, 2021. They are scheduled to begin shipping 5-8 months after preorders close.

Street Fighter Alpha 1 and 2 vinyl soundtracks up for preorder via Laced

Last year Laced Records confirmed that they would be releasing music from the Street Fighter Alpha series on vinyl and now they’ve opened up preorders for the first two games in the series.

Alpha 1 will be a 180g 2LP available in two variants – a limited edition red swirl colored vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a single pocket jacket with new artwork by Andie Tong.
Side D will include sound effects from the game at 45rpm.

Brave Wave’s Ketsui -Kizuna Jigoku Tachi- vinyl soundtrack up for preorder

A few days ago Limited Run Games announced that Brave Wave would be releasing the soundtrack to the shoot ’em up Ketsui -Kizuna Jigoku Tachi- on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on orange and the other on green colored vinyl. They will be housed in a jacket with game art. It comes with a booklet with art and liner notes as well as a digital download code.
A limited edition of 300 copies that comes with a poster signed by composer Manabu Namiki will also be made available with 250 copies for Limited Run Games and 50 for BigWax.

It is priced at $40/€35 ($50/€40 for the limited edition) and is scheduled to release in Q4 2021.
