Endless Legend 2LP preorder up from G4F Records

G4F Records have just announced that they will be releasing a selection of tracks from Endless Legend and its expansions on vinyl.

G4F also recently released the soundtrack to another game in the Endless series, Endless Space 2.

The release will be a 2LP on clear vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with official artwork by the Amplitude Studios creative team. Orders placed through G4F will also include an instant digital download of the soundtrack. The first 200 copies of the soundtrack will be signed by the composer, FlybyNo.

It is priced at €40 and is scheduled to release in late Summer, 2019. It can be preordered from G4F Records here now.

Smooth McGroove’s VGM Acapella Vol. 1 album to be released on vinyl

Yesterday Yetee Records announced that they are releasing Smooth McGroove’s “VGM Acapella Volume 1” album on vinyl. Like the title says, it is an acapella arrangement album of music from Castlevania, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, The Legend Of Zelda, Majora’s Mask, Ocarina Of Time, The Wind Waker, Street Fighter II, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Galaxy.

The release will be a single LP on yellow vinyl. It will come in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise.

It is priced at $25 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2019 (Bandcamp suggests a mid-May release date). It can be preordered from The Yetee here and Bandcamp here.

Limited Run Games to release the Iconoclasts OST on vinyl

Limited Run Games have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the game Iconoclasts on vinyl. Please note that this title will be exclusive to Limited Run Games and will not be available through other retailers.

The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl and will be housed in a gatefold jacket. It will be limited to 600 copies.

It is priced at $35 and it is not currently clear whether it’s ready to ship or if it’s a preorder. It can be ordered from Limited Run Games’ store here on January 18, 2019 at 10AM EST.

Donut County soundtrack to be released on vinyl by iam8bit

iam8bit have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the game Donut County on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on pink vinyl and the other on green vinyl. It will come in a large 48″ fold-out jacket with new artwork by Lily Nishita.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2019. Preorders are open now via iam8bit’s store here.

iam8bit have opened preorders for The Banner Saga 3 2LP

It was confirmed by Austin Wintory last year, but now there’s an official announcement from iam8bit as well – the soundtrack to The Banner Saga 3 is getting a vinyl release. They have also previously released the soundtracks to The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2.

The release will be a 180g 2LP with one record on black and the other on silver colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Arnie Jorgensen. The release will also include a download card for a digital copy of the soundtrack.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q2, 2019. It can be preordered from iam8bit’s store here. 30 signed copies are also available to preorder from Austin Wintory’s Bandcamp here.

Ghost Ramp to release the Pikuniku soundtrack on vinyl

Ghost Ramp have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Pikuniku on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on red vinyl. It comes in a regular LP jacket with game art. It will also come with an enamel pin with the game’s main character. The first pressing will be limited to 1000 copies.

The release is priced at $30 and is scheduled to release in Q2, 2019. It can be preordered from Ghost Ramp’s store here.

Star Fox arrangement EP now available from Yetee Records

Yetee Records have teamed up with Materia Collective to release “Fortuna: The Sector X Sessions”. It is an EP with arrangements of music from Star Fox by R23X, Slime Girls, Smooth McGroove, Jackson Parodi, Saskrotch and Glen O’Neill.

The release will be a 10″ on “Corneria Planet” blue and green swirl colored vinyl. It comes in a 10″ jacket with a lenticular front jacket and artwork by Drew Wise. It is limited to 300 copies.

It is priced at $28 and will begin shipping on January 7, 2019. It can be ordered from The Yetee here and will also be available from their booth at the upcoming MAGFest.

Final Fantasy metal arrangement album now available on vinyl

The metal band Knight Of The Round, who does covers of music from the Final Fantasy series, have just announced that they are releasing their latest album “War Of The Triad” on vinyl.

The album features metal versions of tracks from Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI.

The release is a single LP on clear vinyl with black smoke. It comes in a regular LP jacket.

It is priced at $30 and is ready to ship. It can be ordered from the band’s Bandcamp here and will also be available from the band at the upcoming MAGFest.

Dragon Quest XI vinyl release coming in March

A listing on Japanese Amazon have confirmed that an orchestral arrangement of the soundtrack to Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age appears to be getting a vinyl release.

Information on the release itself is quite sparse, but it appears to be a 3LP on 180g vinyl released by King Records.

It’s priced at ￥9504 (~$85) and is scheduled to release on March 27, 2019. It can be preordered from Amazon Japan here, although please note that they do not allow cancellations for this release.

Celeste Piano Collections available to preorder on vinyl

Materia Collective have just announced that they will release a piano arrangement album with music from Celeste on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on purple marbled vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with design and layout by Rozen.

It is priced at $28 and is scheduled to release around March 2019. It can be preordered via Bandcamp here.
